Lightbulb Designing a K-Hole?

Wow, another robocop. That hurts.

Anyway, SWIM is interested in imagining a scenario for weeks in advance to get a vivid mental image of it. Then using the K to bring it to life, so to speak. Is SWIM making this harder than it really is? Or is this even possible? If not with K with what?

Re: Designing a K-Hole?

Swim's initial thought is that this would be too difficult. The first time Swim K-holed the best way he can describe it is "he saw everything" and he stands by this statement even today. Swim does have some control over his CEVs and what he sees whilst in a K-hole, but lets face it, so much happens!

Re: Designing a K-Hole?

Monkey much prefers the idea of letting it take him when it wants him to go...

Its more powerful that way, if you try to force it it will be restrained. Trying to control trips is also a well known way to get yourself in a bad state...

The K will bring out what is in one's mind. Listening to the certain music will guide a trip in a general direction.

dave-o should urgently read the rules.
Re: Designing a K-Hole?

It doesn't really work like that IMSO.

Plan some music to enjoy, plan some objects to look at, but don't expect it do do what you want.

For example, my sloth has stared at a globe before a hole, and had orbit-reentry experiences one time, but another time the hole experience has been completely unrelated.

LOL - that really is how random ketamine is isn't it? Such a fascinating, eye-opening, interesting, appealing, exciting and mesmerising substance, says my duckbill platypus.

Orbit re-entry is not necessarily what every one thinks of when seeing a globe.

K is unpredictable in many ways (although some aspects of it are fairly constant), just like psychedelics, but set and setting will always be always be important. There is no harm in trying to program or meta-program an experience. Exactly what will happen, no one knows until it happens. Such is life!
