Buying Drugs
SWIM just met someone who has something she wants to purchase. The telephone conversation went something like this... "Do you have B?" "Yes, I just got surgery, i have several B and they cost Y dollars apiece. When I get off work I will call you."
now suppose SWIM goes and meets this person, inspects the product. Is she in danger of being arrested, without having payed for anything? IE is "intent to purchase" a crime? and does anyone think cops would waste their time trying to bust a stranger buying really small? SWIM lives in south carolina and just met someone over the weekend. this person quoted a ridiculously low price, citing the things were from surgery and therefore cheap, and SWIM is wondering fi this person is just trying to lure SWIM into a bust, although SWIM cant think of any reason why cops would want to. |
