Spain - Mephedrone & GBL legal in Spain?

A friend of a friend is planning a trip from UK to Spain in early December of this year.

Firstly, he wanted to know whether Meph & GBL were legal.

He's pretty sure Meph is, but less so about GBL

They told me they'd like to take a few G's of mephedrone with them, and that they planned to cap it, and put it in a vitamin bottle (in the cargo luggage) just as an easier, and less suspicious way of transporting it.

Similarly, they said they liked GBL to help them sleep, and thought of putting it in a different container in the cargo luggage as well.

Was wondering if theres any risk in doing either of those?

Would the GBL maybe be a bad idea? He knows the Meph is legal (apart from in Israel & USA) - so is not too worried about that, because it IS legal.... and will not be obvious that it is Meph.

But he is worried GBL could be a bit dodgier given it's bad press, and could perhaps be more severely punnishable if caught.

What is airport security like these days? Do they have machines, etc. that would detect a legal?

Any advice on how he could minimize the risks, if any, with taking these on his trip with him?
