Dose - Temazepam (Used to Alprazolam)

i scored a bunch of these shits and they're 15mg each.... i took like 7 of them, but i'm not feelin much except a little tired....


I L O V E xanax, (BTW, i'm prescribed it, so i have a decent tolerance.... (i usually take about 10-15mgs of xanax for recreational purposes) and was hoping it would be something similar, but so far, it's not. How much should i take? 7 pills is 45mg, and i dont wanna overdose and like kill myself....


any tips? drink a beer? take more? give me advise but dont try to kill me haha.


btw i'm about 6ft tall and 140lbs.


EDIT: Also, can anyone tell me what the difference is between, say, a 1 mg pillof xanax and a 15mg pill of Temazepan? I've searched and found all those half-life things but i dont really understand them....


ALSO, is there any way to kick up the effect of xanax? I've heard stories of grapefruit juice and drinking on it and stuff, but i want to be safe. No puking for me, i hate it more than anything.


As you can see the 75mg of temazepam has hardly affected me, and i have all my coordination and motor skills, just a little bit out of it and drowsy.... like i have three zani bars, which isn't nearly enough for me to have fun, so is there a way i can increase the effects..? besides buying more? lol, they're hard to come by around here....


If you can, answer all my questions, i'd honestly appreciate it.... thanks in advance.

Well, since you have such a high tolerance to Xanax, AND the relative potency of Temazepam to Xanax is 1:40 AND benzos have cross-tolerance issues....It's not likely that you'll get much of an effect form the Temazepam.


Seriously, if you have to take 10mg of Xanax to achieve 'fun' effects, then Temazepam isn't likely to give you much of an effect..unless you take them in heroic(read stupid) dosages.


I have a good tolerance to Clonazepam, and I tried the grapefruit juice potentiation method. The only effects that I noted were a very slight reduction in motor skills, and increased drowsiness. I don't think it is worth the cost of grapefruit juice.


The last thing you need to do is to increase your already high tolerance to benzos. I'd stick to my script and 'have fun' perhaps once every month. Beating benzos is tough. I'm trying to wean myselfoff them now.

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but what does that exactly mean? Like 1 mg of xanax is equal to 40mg temazepam? would it be safe to take the amount of temazepam that's equal to like 10mg of xanax?

Yes. That is correct. And no, it's not stupid.


Safety....Hmm. So, you want to know if it's safe to take 400mg of Temazepam?...the usual dosage in healthy adults is typically 30mg prior to bedtime.


I think you can do the math here. Taking 13x the usual dosage is sure to give you issues...perhaps leading up to respiratory depression and coma.


Please don't even consider dosing this much, - or anything near it - benzos are pretty safe, but they must be used sensibly. Don't allow your desire to have a couple of hours ofeuphoria turn into somethingreally bad.


Better sober than comatose.

The ratio is 1:1 Klonopin(Clonazepam) has a much longer half-life, and while equivalent in potency,Klonopin's slightly different chemistry makes it less likely to be abused..Or so it is widely reported


I'm on 4mg/day of Klonopin, and I get no kicks from my dosage. Given your high level of tolerance, you need to be careful with dosing.


I suppose if I was dipensing advice about responsible use, I would suggest that you taper your Xanax according to reputably published guidelines in accord with this schedule.


In fact, that is my suggestion. Your tolerance is already very high, and a slow, prolonged taper - along with responsible future use - will allow you to experience the 'fun' that you desire....at REASONABLE dosage levels.

hey,swim got 4 20 mg temazepam's once, they were sold to him as valium.


swim felt no desired benzo effects from them but other people taking the same dose reported effects, 1 of them even swares it was better than valium would've been.


Personally, no effects, well other than a good nites sleep.

let's see... temazepam?? very short half-life. it's a benzo.. but 98% sleeping pill only. really not used for much else. very week drug.


compare to other benzo's.... well, apples to oranges.. but this is close: temazepam 15= oxazepam 15 = alprazolam.5


the thing about grapefruit is that it kills the effect ( i think).


if you are looking to boost a benzo... first, forget temazepam (too weak)valium or xanax is the ticket. kick it with liquid diphenhydramine.


I like the childrens cherry flovor at the dollar store. the cap has a .125mg dose cup included. check for youself what you can handle.


Myself..... 30mg valium and .50 syrup sip to start. then another 10mg c16h13cln20 about 2-hours later with a .125 to .25 dyphin sip every 1.5 hrs or so. body chemistry changes day to day... so this is a rough guide. stomach contents playes a part. i just feel it out.


a word to the wise... dyphenhydramine daily will make pissing difficult.


if this happens, squat like a girl and piss (really) then stop the dypen until urination get back to normal.
