Datura exractions, is it possible?

SWIM understands it is impossible to gauge dose when consuming seeds, leaf, or flower.

SWIM was thinking it would be much safer to be able to extract the main alkaloids in Datura so that they may be weighed out.

What do you all think?

I think you'll find very few, if any, people here would care to aid & abet the consumption of this material. Too many disasters in it's history. Good luck to SWIM.

Re: Datura exractions, is it possible?

SWIM's pet kangaroo's cousin has a BioChemist-koala friend(Which is ethnobotanically very handy) and has been growing a Datura Inoxia (Toloache) all through last spring and summer. He now has a big pot full of a rediculous amount seeds that the plentyfull seedpods gave all late summel till now. Of that he gave away about 1 medium/notheaped tablespoon worth of Datura Inoxia seeds for his BioChemist koala friend to make an extract of to find out the alkaloid profile and content and wether perhaps any analogs are possible of making.

SWIM doesn't know exactly what said koala will do but will report back any results he hears of this Tropane alkaloid investigation.

Re: Datura exractions, is it possible?

Pure extraction of dactora can be very dangerous as the alkaloids can be easily absorbed into the skin. I would not play around with dactora extractions as it could result in death.

Re: Datura exractions, is it possible?

Not giving this fellow an answer to his question feels wrong but at the same time i feel he should have acsess to the info he needs,Please invest in a pilocarpine plant before attempting this the plant material can be used to lessen your risk of sever damage/death when you inevitable overdose. Datura extraction are quite simple and easy to do,mosty people use a dose around 8mg when using methyl hydrate as a solvent. If anyone is interested in the extraction TEK research pilocarpine or other cures folr datura poisoning and convince me your are not a 15 year old who heard he can get ¨high¨ off his moms flowers and now wants my help in committing suicide i will give you simple to follow extraction instruction that will leave you with some pretty yellow crystals. i will also request that you send a picture of your milligram scale with some sort of proof that its really yours and you didn't Google image the pic.

Re: Datura exractions, is it possible?

Hi,
I wonder if you could quote the dosages and the administration of pilocarpine in cases of datura intoxication and also what is the mg/kg dose of datura alk which could be toxic (you said usually 8mg is used - which should be around .01mg/kg).
I also wonder about the availability of it.
Nevertheless SWIM wish to extract datura and experiment with it and while writing SWIM is soaking 2g seeds in 10ml of ethanol.
I wonder if you have another extraction route and also if you could give some wise suggestions.

thanks in advance blue

You posted drug use videos to YouTube? That is exactly why Salvia got banned. Sorry, but highly irresponsible.
