Other - How long b4 poppy pod tolerance develops?

SWIM has UTFSE and hasnt come up with any info on Tolerance associated with poppy pods..What SWIM wants to kno is how long does it take for a tolerance to develop with the pods? SWIM plans on taking the pods the day after taking the pods twice in 1 day and wanted to kno if a previously non-opiate tolerance plagued individual would be effected by any sort of tolerance the second day of taking the pods. Any help?

In SWIM's oppinion tolerance developes after AWHILE of use.If SWIY wants to know about addiction then it all depends on the individual and how often/much they use.

so repeating a dose after dosing the previous day with 12gs (non opiate tolerant at the time) wouldnt have a tolerance effect with the second dose?

SWIM says probably not.
But SWIM finds that having a little kratom, say about 10g-15g, the following day brings back the poppy buzz from the day before.
But SWIM has quite a high tolerance to opiates and kratom so SWIY will probably need less kratom than SWIM for these effects.

thanks g-nome. Kratom as a booster sounds interesting. SWIM already took his/her dose and did feel a little tolerant to a 10.5 g dose, but this may due to weaker pods. SWIM also has thrown up every time he/she has ingested the poppy straw. any suggestions?

How is SWIY ingesting the pods, tea, slurry, another way? And how long after ingesting is SWIY throwing up?

Adding lemon juice to tea and maybe swollowing a spoon full of honey has helped SWIM with the nausea.This can also be due to the fact SWIM is non-tolerant to opies.

SWIM tried the GFJ 8.5 gram slurry the very 1st time they tried the pods which was yesterday...didnt like the taste and 3hrs later skin got flushed and felt sick whenever moving. 2day tried 10.5gs ground pods in soup and about 3 hrs l8r same feelings accompanied by a strong sense of euphoria & vomited both times...Maybe ingesting the straw itself is the problem? As Mekone said it may b also cuz SWIM is not opiate tolerant; next time SWIM will try chamomile with honey to combat the nausea..Does vomiting waste all the opiates?

SWIM isn't sure if SWIY woulda wasted any opiates after three hours. He doesn't know how long it takes for all the goodys from the slurry/soup to get into SWIYr system.

But SWIM believes the reason for SWIY being sick is because SWIY isn't tolerant to opiates. Nothing to worry about, happened to SWIM his first few times doing opiates.

so since SWIM only plans on weekend use & there's always a week between use, wont the same nausea thing continue to occur with tolerance going down in between uses? or does will a permanent mental tolerance occur 4 SWIM with the associated nausea after several repeated doses?

Use no more than once, maybe sometimes twice a week, really. That's what I suggest.

Yeah, SWIM agrees with fiveleggedrat on that one. SWIM says it so easy to fall into addiction with opes. Set yourself rules and stick to them, and if SWIY finds themselves breaking these rules SWIM would suggest stopping usage completely!

SWIM says the nausea will subside. When SWIY starts to feel a bit sick just go lie down for a bit until SWIY feels alright again. But don't fall asleep!
Better to be sick rather than fall asleep and throw up in SWIYour sleep potentially choking on SWIYour own vomit and dying. Or maybe just lie face down or on SWIYour side.
This may sound like a bit of an extreme warning but it has be known to happen. Jimi Hendrix for instance.

Yea man,like the above posts say the nausea will subside but it's REALLY easy to fall into OP8 addiction.Limit the use to every other day or stay off for the same amount you stay on(like if you use 3 days in a row then stay off 3-4 days).Pod juice almost ALWAYS tasts crappy,it's just a matter of getting used to it.Good Luck,Stay Safe!!

Thankz for the help so far.

For SWIM, who has a weak stomach and also thros up easily on an 8th of shrooms, the only way the nausea caused by the pods has subsided has been through vomiting (an involuntary-watery mouth feeling w/ extreme nausea and flushed (pale white) skin has always alerts SWIM when it is time to vomit, unfortunately)...

Addiction is not a problem for SWIM anymore as SWIM has been through addiction with other drugs in the past and has, through negative experience, attained a level of self control when it comes to drugs, and also refuses to use opiates without at least 2 days spaced inbetween and a max of 3 times a week in order to avoid tolerance.

The real question though was:
Will nausea not occur at all during a pod high once SWIMs body becomes accustomed to the poppy pod high, through repeated experiences?

Is nausea just a come and go type thing in every pod high regardless of the number of times the person has been high on pods?

When SWIM says the sickness will subside he meant it will subside the more SWIY uses pods.

The nausea SWIM had experienced the first 2 times definately override any euphoria/pleasure caused by the pods. SWIM does think the high from the pods though is a definate alternative to more expensive and possibly more dangerous pharma grade opiatez & and enjoys the long duration of the pods

Ginger is a SUPERB anti-nauseant. You can chop some up very fine and then boil it to make a sort of tea, then either mix this with your poppy extract (you don't want to boil the poppies, obviously) or drink it afterwards. If mixed in with the poppies it also helps mask the taste. In fact SWIM finds poppy tea perfectly bearable, even pleasant, when flavoured with ginger, honey and lemon (lemon juice also help extract the morphine and codeine) and then chilled.
Another option is of course a spliff or two, which obviously adds to the buzz as well - just be careful not to smoke too much you end up making the nausea worse rather than better.
