Brewing - Wormwood/Salvia Combination

Good morning,

SWIM is curious about an absinthe recipe he came across not too long ago. In the recipe SWIM had noticed it called for both wormwood and salvia and not in small amounts(as compared to other recipes). SWIM would like to know if SWIY may have tried a recipe similar to this. If so, would SWIY recommend it? SWIM has never tried his hand a home brewing/distillation so he is very much a novice in this subject.

SWIM thought that the amount of wormwood and/or salvia called for would produce a most horrible tasting brew, considering what he had experienced with with wormwood before. SWIM would also like to hear of other possible combinations that would be ineresting to brew/distill if SWIY wishes to share. SWIM thanks all for any input and/or advice.

My manatee seems to have been foolish enough not to bookmark the page. SWIM however noticed that many recipes for absinthe call for sage in 2-4 g. measurements. SWIM wonders if these same weights could be applied with salvia? SWIM said he would keep an eye out for said recipe or others like it as he has high interests in brewing/distillation.
