As you can see I am a first timer here so please be gentle!!
I currently work in a nightclub and as such am entitled to a "few" free drinks throughout the night.
Since January 2007 I have noticed I have put on quite a lot of weight and I honestly believe it to be down to the 8/9 pints of lager I drink on a friday and the 8/9 pints I drink on a Saturday!
This (obviously) is a large intake in calories and I was wondering - as I have now joined a gym would I be better cutting out the lager and having shorts or alcopops instead?
If so what is best to assist my weightloss??? (My favourite short is Southern Comfort & diet lemonade!)....

... just a heads up I am 27 years old, 14stone in weight and have a beer belly!! (And yes I know thats my own doing!!)
I have just joined a gym and although it's a struggle I am getting on well!

A further heads up (on reading the rules!!) I am in the UK where alcohol is not an illegal substance & I am 27 (so I am well over the 18 years of age threshold to be drinking!)
