Health - Mouth sore eating certian foods after smoking

So swim has noticed when he eats after coming down (if he has smoked) that certian foods will burn the crap out of parts of his mouth. Like the dope burned his mouth, usually the top of it neer the back. Swim noticed this while eating a penutbutter and jelly sandwich one day... and a turkey sandwich with mustard on it the other day. Those are just examples it happens with other foods as well but not all. Swim has only had this happen when smoking it (one of the reasons he doesent like to smoke). Swim has found that drinking milk makes it stop. What causes this "burning" is it chemical burn or what?

SWIM has no idea, but please be careful if something that bad is afflicting you :/ The burning is due to the ...... burning of your lung tissue :P

Milk is a common remedy for 'hot' things in your mouth.

SWIM believes the burning comes from the acid or base that your are inhaling. Then when you eat a food with the opposite they have a reaction? Dumping baking soda into a bottle of vinegar when you were a youning?

Swim says something similar happens to her from time to time, only its more towards the front. She's pretty sure that it comes from continuously rubbing her tongue against her front teeth unknowingly at first and then unwillingly till it's over with. It rubs her tongue raw, making certain foods unusually painful to eat.

She would compare it to the way her tongue feels after eating too much sour candy somewhat. yes? She's not sure why milk helps, but it does.

Re-reading the post, Swim now thinks it might just be Swiy's mouth getting too extensively dry from the smoke and chemicals and essentially turning into sandpaper rubbing against itself and everything else - ultimately resulting in the same thing... Which would then explain the magic milk cure - the milk would both hydrate the skin and coat it with its fatty goodness, thus eliminating the sandpaper effects (at least temporarily).

Yes, this happens to me also, whether smoked or snorted. I have a permanent bottom retainer which is essentially a wire across my bottom teeth. So I'll clench my jaw and start tonguing the retainer until the whole front of my tongue is covered with inflamed taste buds. It sucks.

i know wut ur speaking of hurts like hell i get it in the back of my mouth usually salty foods no matter what way the drug is used dunno y tho just another side effect

swim heard that if you drink alot of water after each hit and swish the water around in your mouth and spit it out, it helps the irritation that is caused by left over chemical residue staying on the sensitive parts of the mouth. Drinking lots of liquids in between hits is what Swim heard fixed that problem for Swim, each time.

SWIM gets these mouth sores also.... i belive its from the residue left in ur mouth after smoking, combined with dry mouth apperently leaves some sort of blister on the roof of swims mouth.

SWIMs are also slightly raised, basicly they are little bumps that hurt like shit when u eat food.

So just rinse ur mouth out, works for swim

After u smoke wash ur mouth out good and the sores wont appear anymore... works for swim.

He also notices this after doing pills of E... interesting.

Swim just finished of his last meth and his mouth feels like he's been chewing broken glass. But it was not smoked, it was dissolved in water and taken over a 30-35 hour period. Of coures no sleep or nutrients besides coffee and a little cake.
maybe it's gods way of punishing users.

He also has pain in the ass literally, but could be the result of being seated while surfing the web for the same period of time. Or perhaps he's been sodomized while sleeping.

swim also experienced this once recently. swim would describe it as a painful swelling of the roof of the mouth, the soft pallet in particular. it happened after drinking lemonade, having been up for three or four days. swim found this odd because swim's been smoking meth for years and, up until this point, hadn't encountered this on meth. however, years ago, before swim discovered meth and was snorting at least an 8ball of cocaine a day(wtf, i know), this was par for the course. only occasionally at first, but always on the morning after snorting a lot of coke, it became an almost daily occurance as time went on and swims cocaine use incresed. sour or acidic things like cranberry juice or lemonade seemed to be particulatly effective triggers. swim always assumed this was due to swims nasal passages being irritated by the coke, but now swim's not so sure. swim has a feeling it has something to do with dehydration.

just a quick side note: typing this reminded swim of years past and how amazingly effective meth was at curing swims cocaine addiction. swim has no doubt that others have experianced this. meth, for swim at least, ruined all other drugs, by making them totally unenjoyable, especially cocaine.

swim has this happen also, swims mouth feels like he just took a pizza out of a 600 degree oven and immediatley eats it. swims throat also gets a little sore

it happened to the sides of swims tounge recently on a 3 day binge.

Smoked the whole time.

Swim also noticed he chewed his cheek up but thats just from teeth grinding

Swim thinks meth has gotten boring. Swim would rather roll on ecstasy.

Swishing paroxide in your mouth twice a day helps. There are also some over the counter washes made for mouth sores. That helps swim as she gets them bad too. They will go away in about a week if swiy abstains. But yeah they really hurt bad.
