Ever had a cocaine 'ringer/echo' from insufflating?

used the search engine & found only the crack thread with the cocaine ringer effects described.

was curious if any swimmers have ever experienced the echo, tunnel sounding ringing effects from insullfating coke? back in the day when smurfs got quality product they used to get this along with tunnel vision & numb face etc...

Re: Ever had a cocaine 'ringer/echo' from insuffulating?

This is the first time SWIM has seen this brought up in awhile. SWIM says he has experienced the ringer/echo effect while using the insufflation technique but only with a high quality product and/or in a rather large dose. SWIM says that smoking and intravenous use of said product has always brought on the ringer/echo effect. SWIM says in his social circle this was also known as "hearing trains" as it does seem to sound as freight trains sound when moving on railways.

hearing trains, that's an interesting one to call it. it does sound train like... what colour was the coke swey had? yellow? because that is the colour of the stuff that used to create this lovely effect. as swey said high doses of normal coke can also cause the 'hearing trains' effect.

SWIM says he recalls the color of said product to often be pearlescent to a pale yellow. SWIM has had several of these auditory experiences but most of the time smoking was the precursor to "hearing trains". SWIM also goes on to say intravenous use was pretty much a guarantee that he would get the effect.

Re: Ever had a cocaine 'ringer/echo' from insuffulating?

SWIM never had any significant audio distortion from snorting coke, even smoking never yielded the massive “train” sound that only slamming (IV) could deliver.

SWIM once snorted an 800mg, 20cm-long rail of good quality coke and he had a mild sound distortion for about 30 seconds about 5 minutes after doing the rail, it felt like the first seconds of the “train sound” from slamming but never “exploded” like IV does, however since SWIM was already into slamming he probably had tolerance and perhaps that prevented the sound from getting more intense.

When slamming the injection has to be delivered quickly (depending on the dose) or the train sound would be mild and some times not appear at all, getting a strong train sound with only half the dose injected means SWIY should stop unless a cocaine overdose sounds fun and safe; that’s why pausing the injection and waiting for the train before resuming is a really good idea.

In general the harder the train sound gets correlates with how much SWIY is pushing his luck and betting his life on a feeling, which doesn’t really matter when SWIY is “hooked on a feeling” which is the most common consequence of slamming coke in the first place.

SWIM agrees that intravenous use is pretty much a guarantee that one will "catch a train". He also says it is immediate and intense and to proceed with caution.

Tunnel vision? Never heard of that.

Swim has heard of ringers from shooting coke, and from smoking crack, but never from insufflating coke, even pure.

Swim knows plenty who described IV coke as "getting hit by a train".

My rats say they used to get a ringing sound from IVing coke but not from sniffing (even from IVing purer amphetamine sometimes), way back when they used to do things like that. They always thought it was blood pressure in their ears!

Re: Ever had a cocaine 'ringer/echo' from insuffulating?

SWIM only ever experienced this effect when IVing coke. And SWIM has snorted a shit load of coke. Looking back, SWIM is surprised he's still alive and not dead from a heart attack, though he feels he did come very close to this a few times. SWIM is sorry for going a bit off topic, just reminded SWIM of when he was a crazy mad coke head. SWIM wouldn't touch coke now, he hates it and everything it stands for. But each to their own eh. And again, he's sorry for going off topic.
