Best way to smoke DMT?

When I first started, I used a glass pipe and thought DMT was pretty harsh stuff. Then I got some good advice about how to do it. Put a thin layer of parsley in your bowl. Put your DMT on top of that layer and flatten it down. Then put another thin layer of parsley over theDMT(a "sandwich"). And hit it with your Bic. Much much smoother than a glass pipe. I'm considering dissolving the DMT in a solvent, then addingparsley to the solvent so that when it evaporates my parsley is precoated. Anyone ever try this? Any other smooth smoking suggestions?

This is the "old school" way that DMT, as well as other drugs
like PCP were prepared. In this form, not only could they be
measured without a scale, but also could be utilized and distributed by
the marijuana-using community more readily.

Some people, however, feel that this preparation make its much
more difficult to "break through the veil" and enter full DMT

i think vaporizing it in a specially prepared 100 watt light bulb might
be smoother than a glass pipe and more effective than the parsley
method.





you really want to avoid putting direct flame on this stuff if you can.

Glass bulbs are much smoother than pipes. Iusually put the flame around it to heat, then when i take hits i take 3 big ones held as long as possible for a total time of abouta minute after which I am unable to do any more. Then its happy time.

Glass bulb seems like a much better idea. You could also use an
oil burner if you want. Your method will work but is probably the
worst method of smoking it. Is it possible to hotrail dmt like
you would do with meth? If that would work I think that method
would be good too because you would get every bit of it, but im not
sure if this would work.

i always thought disolving in everclear and dropping it on buds.
Never done it though but its a thought. Plus you will know
exactly how much you are doing.

For those who don't like mixing it with parsley, try putting it in a big glass test tube with a two-hole rubber cork(you may have to drill your own holes). Then get a 9" piece of copper tubing and bend it into an "L" shape. Insert one end into one of the holes until it is an inch from bottom.Put your dose of DMT in the test tube and use your Bic lighteron the outside until it fills with white smoke. Inhale on the outer end of the copper tubing.The two biggest advantages to doing it this way are that you don't have to mix it with anything to smoke it; and you can get replacement test tubes on eBay real cheap.

The crack method won't really work, as you want to avoid
scalding the DMT by touching it directly with the flame. The
parsley/cannabis/whatever herb method is OK, but it will be impossible
to cross through the "veil" this way, so only threshold aesthetic
"ludibund" effects can be had via this technique.

I'm not sure about the "hotrailing", Swim has done it with meth
before, but I wonder if there would be too great a chance of hot molten
DMT hitting your nose or mouth and not only being inactive, but burning
the shit out of your mucous membranes.

I saw a diagram of the "classic DMT pipe" and one like it that someone
had made using a small glass vial with a top and a pen tube. The
plastic cap had a hole in it the perfect size for the pen tube, and
when placed inside, made a good, low-leakage dmt pipe. Apparently it
worked very well, except once it filled up, the smoke would start to
escape. I assume the rubber stopper design would be a more effective
alternative.

The test tube is probably the most accessible and easily made
device for vapourizing DMT, but IMO there'se something to be said for
the aethetics and exotic beauty of a well-blown "classic" DMT pipe in
lovely pink and purple hues.

I am definitely going to try and have one blown for Swim sometime this summer. <!--

The best way (in SWIM's opinion) is the way mentioned above...with the test tube.

Anything involving vaporizing the dmt at very high temperatures is very harsh. But if swiy can hold it in, then by all means...

No offense but Pinocchio do not think this would be brilliant idea. It's not like smoking weed that you sit back and relax and smoke something for the good taste and chill hours and hours. All these 5 minutes that DMT hits you (Pinocchio thinks) there will not be to much difference you can feel if it tastes good like cherry or not because you are in different level of reality anyway..

It's job enough to get clean DMT why would anyone want to mix it up with some other chemicals that does not do any good for the journey anyway ?

But if someone does test it .. well, let us know the difference :P

Be VERY careful doing DMT in a normal Bong! Swim used to think that it was okay to put the dmt on the gauze with a little bit of weed ontop, light the weed and then (without the flame touching the DMT) let the burning weed vaporize the DMT. Its works really well for a while, BUT, after about ten or so bongs there is a LOT of DMT that has melted and is stuck in the pipe.

So... the next day... when you are with your friends having a casual bong of weed first thing in the morning, one minute you've just toked a normal weed bong, the next you've inhaled about 100mg of pure DMT, collapsed into a sweaty wreck on the floor and are hurtled into hyperspace at a million miles and hour

That gave swim, and his mate, one hell of a Shock!

Ok funny story swim told me. So Swim had just smoked a bowl of DMT and left it on the coffee table, went outside and when he came in his buddy was in the bathroom and had just realized he took a hit of DMT. I was like that's messed up man, but he told me that should serve his friend right for just picking up someone elses pipe and smoking off of it.

Swim's best experience off of DMT was smoking it out of a crack pipe. A glass tube with a bubble on the end with a hole in the top.
