What's the medical term for K-pains?

As the title reads, if my swim was to be rushed to hospital because of K-pains; how would I describe it the doctor?

from two hospital experiences swm had.... you can explain all the details you want... and they wont understand or know what to do.... they will try to give you some minor pain killers while they keep you there, and that wont work... they also may try and give you a lidocaine syrup...

Re: What's the medical term for K-pains?

Swims friend had chronic K-pains last night, was rushed to hospital and given morphine (obviously he didn't tell them he was on K) but that seemed to do the trick!

Swim had to wait in A&E waiting area for hours

What are the pains caused by? There must me a medical way of describing these pains so as swim can recieve as best treatment as possible!?

When SWIY is high on K, SWIY gets pains?? I thought it was a dissociative separating body from mind. SWIM was thinking of trying this drug soon, but what the hell is this?

A side effect of heavy abuse of ketamine, which I believe is caused by the corrosive damage snorted ketamine does to the stomach.

It does take a lengthy period of heavy abuse for K pains to begin (swim knows users who have averaged 3 or more grams per day for weeks on end who havnt had any K pains yet), but once they hit, the user may think twice about ever using ketamine again.

After seeing a friend crippled with pain he has limited his own intake to strictly occasional use.

Re: What's the medical term for K-pains?

Just don't forget to eat and always be drinking a lot of water, I've been doing this and it's avoided the k-pains. I've been able to dodge all the side effects by making sure you're leading a normal life with K.
Just don't let it get a hold of you.
Once again I can't stress enough though, EAT! You'll feel better.

Re: What's the medical term for K-pains?

When Swim used to over do it with K, she was rushed to A&E twice and had to be shot with morphone-more than once because swim was screaming so much and said she wanted to die cos pain was so bad, but doctors had no idea what was going on. Swim let them take blood and any tests they wanted but she didn't say she took K and they certainly didn't have the knowledge to know themselves.
Swim thought she might die the second time but swim lived

Re: What's the medical term for K-pains?

Yep, they really are this evil. A friend of mine has been hospitalized a few times because the pain got so intense he thought he was dying. Doctors never could find out exactly what was wrong, and the pains continued until he shut off and slowed his use. I don't really understand how the pain feels, where exactly it's located, all I've ever heard from my friend is that it was a really sharp disgusting feeling inside his gut, and they range from mild pain to the severe pain that lands one in the hospital. Must be quite brutal, given this guy loves K and it was enough to make him stop.
