okay this may seem off topic but just understand i'm trying to be discreet: i'm new to buying stuff online, can i use a debit/check card on sites that want credit card #s?its a visa check card endorsed by a national bank. this may seem stupid, and maybe it is, but if anyone could tell me that would be great.

I'd think that if it was your own credit card, then go to your bank, and ask them whether you can or not.
