Vyvanse, Prozac, Caffeine, PSYCHOSIS

SWIM took 90mg vyvanse (prescribed 30 but ATM is experiementing with dosages and usually needs over 90 to last him 5 hours before crashing), and 60 mg Prozac (previously prescribed 20, been off for about two-three months) around late evening. Earlier that day he made an exceptionally strong blend of chai and has no idea how much caffeine he got.

Everything was fine, SWIM was good till late evening where he was starting to get contrast hallucinations : Swim occasionally experiences these and experienced heavy during a shroom capsule trip. He describes them as light, a red body with an emanating yellow coating that forms a shape that moves across his vision (when he closes his eyes during those periods he gets more vivid in a blank space) when he begins to stare or blank out. Anyway SWIM knows at this point he is slightly fucked, but is not scared because everything else seems normal if not slightly elevated. He is constantly checking his pulse and temperature and is within normal levels.

SWIM realized his tiredness soon after so SWIM ingested his nightly melatonin and valarian. As he lay down to sleep the contrast hallucinations got worse and made him, of course, unable to sleep. As swim is lying in bed he figures he will make the best out of a bad situation and stares at different objects in the room till his vision defocuses and he gets a visual distortion. SWIM was waiting this out for a while but decides its time to end it and takes an ambien (he usually refrains on weekends and non essential sleep nights). When the ambien kicks in, his visions get a little more otherworldly.

Then SWIM remembers turning MANIC. SWIM is up and about, gets his catnip and plays with his cats. doing god knows what else. SWIM remembers going out to his dad's winery to swindle some weed, because at this point he is thinking "wow, maybe I will finally be able to enjoy marijuana in a state where it wont make me collapse". SWIM Vaguely remembers his adventure, waking up his dad's friend who was sleeping out in a guestroom (probably dropping a shroom stem he swindled). SWIM wakes up the next morning, praying it was a dream. He is confronted by his mom and found he left post-it notes all over the house telling his parrents he loved them and to not forget to pay him for the work he did (SWIM was researching ethnobotanicals that night :/).

Anyway, SWIM has been scarred by this experience and thought he would share. Moral of the story, start small when dealing with new combinations and drugs.
