Addiction - Snorting and orally ingesting 700mg or more, YES 700mg of Ritalin in less than 24hrs

My pet Bronks is very very familiar with ritalin. My pet has taken amounts of 500mg, 700mg and even 1200mg of Ritalin each over 24hrs or less, through orally ingesting it as well as snorting it. Bronks once sufferred toxic psychosis from his ritalin abuse 6 years ago. This is where Bronks suffered from hallucinations for a week but they then disappeared. And Bronks has just recently relapsed into his excessive drug use which he originally started taking for attention deficit disorder (which he really never had). Bronks would like to know if anyone knows of any other pets that have taken this level dose of Ritalin and what were the effects on them.
I - the writer on behalf of Bronks, posted a new thread because this subject heading is about Bronks use of such a high amount of this substance that I figured it would be more specific this way in terms of posting instead of simply listing it under experiences.
Bronks has experienced flushing in the chest area, red spots that appear on his paws and feet and increased heart rate and blood pressure which he continuously monitors incase it gets dangerously high. Bronks wants to stop using Ritalin and would also like any helpful suggestions. Lastly what effect could Bronks continuous abuse have on his brain and heart and liver? Most impotantly though Bronks would most like to know any other pets every taken 1200mg of Ritalin over 24hrs (120 , 10mg instant release pills novartis brand)? Understand that Bronks has no intention of doing this anymore.

My advice would be to go see professional help. This is an insanely high dose which can be resposible for both mental en physical damage. Also Bronks should check with his doctor and do a check on how all the organs are functioning. If as you say Bronks already had psychotic episodes there is a good chance it will happen again.

My advice: Lay of the medication and see help!

As for your "most important question": It really doesn't matter if other people also did these insanely high amounts because nobody should do them. So please don't try and make Bronk his problem smaller by comparing it to other peoples problems. Help yourself

absolutley, if bronks believe himself and is honest in saying he wishes to stop, he should seek help. it will help mentally, aside from the drug, by clearing his conscience and telling the doctor who will in turn help him.

that is the most important matter. i'm curious as how bronks felt when he took such high doses? what it enjoyable? or did he ever take too high of a dose to have negative side effects?

I heard that if you take it orally you can OD from youre weight in kg x 10mg's
so if youre weight is 80kg (176 pounds) you can take 800mg's (80 pills) before it comes really dangereous
But if you snort them then you can OD from 20 pills

The leathal dose of methylphenidate is 60mg/kg. I.e., your weight in kg multipled by 60.

(your weight in lb x 0.45) x 60 = Leathal Dose under normal conditions. However, you can have a stroke, blood clot, or do permanant damage to your brain (high body temperature) at as low as 10mg/kg.

the most methylphenedate that swim ever partook in was a gradual climb up to 250mg over the period of an hour... this was like hooking up swims heart to a fucking car battery... it completely rocked him like no other and although it felt (sorta) good, it was well not worth the palpitations and shortness of breath that daunted his experience...

700mg, this is breaching obscurity... please seek advice from a physician or the next visit to the doc-in-the-box may just be an icey mortician...

be smart about the use of stimulants because cardiac and breathing problems are really not the way to go... also that whole hypertensive crisis thing... watch out for that.

1.2 grams in 24 hours? I can understand that if someone has a high tolerance from regular use (or abuse in this case) that they can handle higher doses but 1.2 g is just insane.

What would motivate SWIY to take such large doses? Surely it'd start to become unpleasant long before 1.2 g was taken? That just sounds suicidal.
