Snorting - Raw skin at botton of nostrils ...

SWIM has really sore, sort of like raw skin around the bottom SWIMS nose. SWIMs been putting vaseline on it but this dosnt seem to work, anyone know anything that works / can be reccomended ?

Use A&D Ointment. That should help.

Swim has recently felt that same raw skin feeling around the tip of the nose ,just like when you have a cold and blow your nose with too much tissue.
Did swiu smell any strong chemical odour at the time of doing the job?

SWIM has always had good results from triple antibiotic ointment, available without a prescription. Some even have pain numbing component. Back when SWIM was enthusiastic, the entire insides of nostrils were raw red rage. SWIM would squeeze the tube of antibiotic ointment directly up each nostril, near filling the nasal cavity. Ahhhh, the relief was blessed! Of course, one then must breathe through the mouth for a good while and halt the party temporarily. Usually, that would be a good time to lie back and rest/sleep and let the antibio do its thing. Because, by standing up, the ointment would gradually melt from body heat and drool out from the nose, causing rather unsightly appearance and startling passersby.

Now, in my doctoring the many barn cats in my harem, I commonly mix a pudding blend of the A+D ointment suggested by 'dcrn' AND the triple antibiotic ointment. And it seems to help heal all sorts of wounds by preventing any infections from arising.
