Experiences - Resistant to GHB?

Last weekend Britney Spears used GHB for the first time with her friends. Earlier in the night they used speed and XTC. Her friends all used the same GHB and used all about 3-4 ml every two hours and they were all trippin balls. Britney could use up to 8 ml a time without any effect (which should get her into a coma :S). She didn't drink that night and didn't eat either.

Is there something known as a resistance to GHB or is there any other probable explaination of how this is possible?

The problem is that we don't know what the dilution of the GHB was so, assuming the standard 5ml=1g, taking 3-4ml every two hours wasn't going to exactly break the bank when it came to full-on G effects.

Given that Ms Spears and her friends were also using stimulants then there is even less chance of them being able to detect any additional effect from the G.

If she had used 8ml (just over 1.5g) at about 30/40 mins after taking the speed and ecstacy then she would have definitely felt it. Not necessarily a mind-blowing rush, but more likely a nice synergy between the stimulants and the G. This could then have been maintained by redosing as and when it felt necessary whilst also making sure not to redose excessively.
