Calm hippy songs to listen to while high

Can you guys recommend some good calm hippy songs that swim can listen to? Like Planet Caravan by Black Sabbath or All along the watchtower by Bob Dylan. With that kind of sound. They're very relaxing and great to listen to while high.

Some of my favorite kind of music. Love those songs you
mentioned, you should even try jimi hendrix's version of all along the
watchtower. Heres a few that i like.

little wing - jimi hendrix

the wind cries mary - jimi hendrix

castles made of sand - jimi hendrix

get together - the youngbloods

love you too - the beatles (george does some good suitar work)

white rabbit - jefferson airplane

marijuana - phish

wish you were here - pink floyd

shine on you crazy diamond - pink floyd

echos - pink floyd

hey jude - beatles

bold as love - jimi hendrix

imagine - john lennon

learning to fly - pink floyd

Hope this helps, i love this kind of music.

Dark Side of the Moon while high (and even more so tripping) is just a
perfect CD. The Flaming Lips' Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots is
clearly acid-inspired and one song even opens with sounds that seem
strikingly influenced by the auditory hallucinations nitrous causes.

Radiohead, particularly the song Idioteque, always gets me tripping
hard. As does any of the hippie anthems written by The Polyphonic Spree!

i like DSOTM too when high, but when tripping the song Time's chimes
and shit at the beggining always make me jump cuz I never expect them
coming. The rest of that song is excellent though. Floyds
album piper at the gates of dawn is a really acid inspired album,
mainly because barret was the lead.

Korky: I have an all instrumental version of Jimi's All along the watchtower. It's just him soloing for four minutes. Its amazing.

Yeah he is increadable. If you like solo's and great guitar
work, i suggest downloading stevie ray vaughn's version of little
wing. Its like 7 minutes of pure guitar. Ive been listnin
to a song alot recently, very laid back, for some reason always puts me
in a good mood. Its not really hippy and its not like the rest of
these songs, but you should check out the song can't you see by the
marshall tucker band. Havent listened to it high yet, but its
damn catchy. Kinda southern slow rock. Just thought id add
that, its a great song for cruisin around with a cig or a dip in, and
hell i bet it would be uplifting when high. To really relax you,
you should also check out shpongle. Its tripping music, but it is
great anytime. Try the song divine moments of truth or once upon
a sea of blissful. Let me know how you like all the songs i
posted, im a big music buff.

I love the songs. That Marijuana song is bomb

If you want a good song, check out Orion by Metallica. It's an instrumental song that always puts me in a good mood. Don't worry, it's not that heavy or anything. If you're really high while you hear it, you can really "ride the tunes". It feels like flying slowly through the universe.Edited by: Creeping Death

glad i could be of some help. I will have to check that song out,
hell might get high tonight and try it out. I listened to
planet caravan on some ether the other day (dont worry my ether use is
few and far between) and i just noticed how weird songs sound on
that. Gives kind of a flashy sound, only way i can really explain
it is a strobe light for the ears. Another cool high song is only
a northern song by the beatles. More uplifting than relaxing but
definatly has some relaxing properties.

i like the song man, it does sound cool high. That intro's guitar
powerchords mixed with that phasing effect kirt uses sounds awsome, in
fact it would sound cool on some ether also, have to try that
sometime. Well im off to float away to that song, thanks

If you like Pink Floyd and reggae, check out an album called "Dub Side
Of The Moon". Reggae version of the classic album. Sounds
like it might be cheesy, but trust me, it's a little-known gem.<!--

i will check that out thanks. I thought of a couple more songs
too. You should check out crosby stills and nash. Its
people from a bunch of hippy bands that came together to make some
music with amazing harmony. Try the song suite: judy blue
eyes. You should check out some eagles too if you lik that kinda
stuff. Like peaceful easy fealing and take it easy.

My recomendation would be anything by Enigma, the album which starts with "The Voice Of Enigma" never ceases to provide a relaxing thoughtful mushie trip.

yeah ive heard a bit of enigma, good stuff. Ive been really into
Crosby stills and nash lately. They have been called the voice of
a generation. Refering to the hippy generation. Wooden
ships is a pretty good song by them, more trippy than the
rest. Teach you children is great, it has a pretty good message
behind it. Back then when teens and stuff were told they shouldnt
listen to adults over 30, well its about how everyone young and old
should live peacefully. It tells parents to teach their kids
their views on things, the children choose which to follow and believe
in, and not to ask what they chose, to just know they love you.
And vise versa with children talking to parents. If families
lived by that songs meaning, there would be alot less fighting and
abuse. Gets you thinking while you are high. Worth a listen

Wow that sucked I just typed a full god damn message and it got messed up becuase I got dropped from the internet or something. Anyway in a nutshell I said If you like Sublime style check out Slightly Stoopid. You can download some of their concerts at SublimeArchive.com if you like them buy one of their albums I recommond the longest barrel ride first. It was their second album but my favorite, their other 4 are awesome too so check them out. They were originally signed to skunk records by Bradley Nowell of Sublime.
