Effects - Pseudoephedrine Induced Insomnia - How Long Will It Last?

First of all let me say that swim knows that pseudoephedrine has very little recreational value but he just wanted a pick me up so swim took 1200 mg of the stuff around noon today. Now he is sitting here about 11 hours later and is still wide awake with a racing heart. is there any chance of swim sleeping tonight? and if so does anyone know howmuch longer he will feel this awake for? any feedback from someone with experience on pseudoephedrine would be greatly appreciated.

stay away from that stuff,it is evil,SWIM used to buy same drug which is often used in cold/flu preparations,tolerance built up very quick,was initially taking it to help lose weight but it has horrible side effects,no withdrawal as far as SWIM can remember but horrible palpitations,jitteriness and huge mood swings...........and ALOT of sleeplessness!!
