Smoking - Did SwiPA just have a stroke of genius?

There's a way of smoking grass that gets you really stoned, but it has a drawback. I think SwiPA may have thought up a way to lessen that drawback. Nobody likes smoking tobacco through a bong. It's freaking disgusting. Unfortunately, it's required for the method of smoking known as a "shottie". Not the kind where you blow smoke from a joint into another person's mouth. I'm talking about when you replace a bowl/screen system with a ball of rolling tobacco and torch the weed in one hit, then suck the baccy through so the (large amount of) smoke enters the lungs quickly. I'll jump straight to it then, now that the explaining's out of the way. What if the rolling tobacco used for a shottie were soaked in water? If it was wet enough to be unable to burn, but not so much that it would get the weed wet, wouldn't that solve the problem of burning tobacco? SwiPA will try this with his next sack if he remembers. If he does, he will report back.

SWIM smokes in a similar fashion by loading one hit at a time in a water pipe excluding the tobacco. This would have a screen, of course. They call them 'snaps' where SWIM is from. It does great to conserve weed by not allowing a cherry to burn and holding the hits in as long as possible.
