Drug info - False Positives of Molly

SWIM gets drug tested for 5 substances- PCP, THC, opiates, amphetamines, meth. SWIM gets prescribed Adderall, so he's allowed to have amphetamines show up. he's trying to do molly, which is pure MDMA thus SWIM doesn't have to worry about buying E cut with god knows what. SWIM heard that MDMA comes up as meth AND amphetamines, and that it comes up as amphetamines; he need to know what the real deal is. Thanks.

Unless SWIY has access to a GC/MS then SWIY can't tell if the MDMA is cut or not. Chances are, it will be, more likely with something inert, but it could be cut with meth or speed or ketamine.

Meth and amphetamines would be the same test. This means there would be another drug swiy is being tested for. Probably benzos or cocaine. Swim would suspect both as that is standard for a five panel drug test. Hypothetically, swiy could take mdma and be excused if it showed up positive for (meth)amphetamines, considering swiy has a scrip for adderall. However, swiy would be in trouble if they sent the urine sample to the lab for further analysis. A lab analysis would be able to distinguish methamphetamine from amphetamine and possibly mdma also.

hmmm you are right. I suppose SWIM does not correctly recall the drugs included on his test.. he knows opiates, thc, amp, and benzos are included (SWIM remembers the benzos now because of a false positive once). he will have to wait until his next test to confirm. also, SWIM knows the test includes six drugs.

this is exactly what it looks like, the site says that "Mamp" is specifically for E. that doesn't make sense.

i don't think meth and amp would be the same test on the panel screen....all of SWIM's drug tests have had a amp section as well as a mamp sectioin

Amfetamines & methamfetamines are 2 different panels. A Certain Mouse was told by a field worker that MDMA will trigger the methamfetamine panel on most urinalysis tests.

Please be aware that if it is a pill rather than "pure" MDMA then anything could be triggered.

Swim's five panel is amphetamines, benzos, cocaine, opiates, and thc. Swim has the assumption that the amphetamine panel will come back positive for mamp and amphetamine. Swim believes that determining mamp or amph would have to be done by a lab analysis.

The Mouse is correct. And be aware that dextromethorphan (DXM) can trigger a false-positive for phencyclidine (PCP). If that happens, demand a blood-test. They have to check it and it will then be clear it's not PCP. Just don't tell the goons you know this, or they'll figure you're chugging cough-syrup at the Junior High.

Swim would not suggest using ecstasy.

Now that swim thinks about it, he also believes that is the test that he receives. Swim thought he counted only 5 strips, but it looks nearly identical. Swim will pay close attention next time and try to count the strips accurately.
