Health - Presciprtion for benzos?

Now, SWIM has been suffering severe general+social anxiety.

My dad prescibed me to Lexapro, an SSRI. Which ive noticed is working.

But the thing is, when ever SWIM take benzos (SWIMS dad is prescribed to diazepam) , Swim just feel like the anxiety has dissapeared... and im just curious about whether SWIM actually needs this type of medication for my anxiety.

But its so hard to get a benzo presription, so im not 100% what to say to my Dr. to get him to write me a script.

If i fail to get them, anyone got some pointers?
