Spice Diamond United States Customs

Checked the status of swim's order via DHL today. Apparently there has been a clearance delay and it is still on hold in customs. Bastards. Swim has never heard of any issues with spice before. Has anyone else had a similar experience with spice in the United States? Swim will update when something happens.

BTW it was supposed to be overnighted and as of this writing it is two days late.

If SWIY is in the US, why doesn't he order SD from a US supplier? Google is SWIY's friend.

SWIM thinks there's nothing to worry about. Customs delays happen all of the time for various reasons. It doesn't mean they're scrutinizing SWIY's package. Furthermore, none of the ingredients in SD is prohibited.

Sound advice. Swim just contacted his supplier and apparently they sent swim some extra "goodies" because he is a loyal customer. Can't wait to see what that is. They said they contacted DHL and found out it was released by customs this morning. Two days late though, could've spent a lot less on shipping. Swim wonders if the extra "goodies" caused the delay.

Well this is interesting. Apparently the supplier is full of shit. Swim got off the phone with DHL and they contend that the package is still stuck in customs. The representatives that swim spoke with have no idea how the supplier could have thought it had cleared.

Very misleading. Swim is not amused.

You should be able to go to the dhl website and track your order with a tracking number. This should give you up to date information, the same information that you would get by calling. My understanding is they do it electronically and its updated via the website directly from the dhl network.

Swim knows. There is a hint that this may be resolved soon will update asap.

Package arrived today. It was resealed with a sliced open envelope. Customs went through it and let it through swim supposes. Better late than never. Swim is very high.
