Drug info - Amph Smells like Crystal Meth

SWIM got few G of cut amph and its smells like crystal meth. Is it normal ?

Has Swiy ever smelled pure crystal meth? What makes Swiy think it's that specifically?

Don't see why picking up some amp, it would have meth it in. That's like putting heroin in someone's codeine; doesn't make sense. Meth is way more expensive than amp.

yes SWIM tryed 100% pure fresh crystal meth , that been cooked same day.

This Amph that SWIM got dont realy have very strong meth smell, but it reminds him of meth. And its first time SWIM got some amph in like 3 years, so he was just wondering if its normal for amph to smell like meth a lil

Never smelled meth in particular so I can't say.

Could just be a different type of amphetamine or just mixed amphetamine products.

Amphetamine Sulphate and Methamphetamine likely have a very similar smell,being that they are very closely related chemicals!
In swims part ofthe world Amphetamine sulphate is virtually unheard of,and most 'speed' is just Methamphetamine and glucose.

swim has a question. may seem dumb but wat is the point of street amp? y get that shit when u can get pharmoceutical grade amps like dexedrine u know its pure. basically. y synthezise it when its available. its like clandestnly synthesising codeine.... any answers?

It's just like why Swim turns to street heroin even though he 10000x prefers pharm grade opioids: Just can't find them. Pharm grade stuff is generally hard and rare unless one happens to have a big, fat medical file or are over the age of 85

Swim suffers from severe insomnia (Just woke up from about 7 hours of sleep, and he has not slept for 2 1/2 days before that) but Swim cannot find a doctor that will give him a script for a benzo or benzo related sleep med like Zoplicone. They want Swim to do SSRIs. WHY? He don't know.

Till Swim has something from a doctor, it's self medicating with street goods: H for pain and accident, other people's benzos for anxiety and sleep, and pot for anxiety, sleep, and recreation.

As far as synthing codeine, Swiy better believe Swim would as long as it was not too expensive or difficult. Also, if Amp's on the market, then there is a market for it. Someone's buying it.

Amphetamine is Schedule 2, and very popular. There aren't enough prescriptions to supply the demand. Though Swim has never even seen street grade speed where he lives, despite looking for it for quite a while.

One reason would be, for a chemist who is synthesizing it for himself, customizing the type of salt and combination of isomers, plus control of what it is cut with.

Any decent chemist with the materials available to synthesize methamphetamine could synthesize amphetamine. The reason for the popularity of meth in the USA is that, weight for weight, it is more potent than amphetamine. Regards their odor - both share the same chemical structures (amine), so a similar odor should be expected.
