SWIM recently attained a XTC tablet from a friend who told him that these were the good raving type tabs, and that SWIM would have a great time rolling off one. SWIM is inexperienced with XTC, but was curious to try it. SWIM took the pill and within an hour started to feel the high, feeling light, energetic, and happy. SWIM decided to listen to some techno, and started off with some light trance type stuff, and soon started dancing and switching the mood to more intense techno. Hallucinations started around 30 minutes into the roll, the walls were vibrating with the bass, and waving like a flag. 20 minutes after the hallucinations started, SWIM got to his most intense song, and suddenly fear started to take over. SWIM felt as though the walls were collpasing in on him and felt as if he were going to die of dehydrationg, though he was properly hydrating the whole time. SWIM started shaking and holding himself in fear of everything around him, but was able to communicate with a friend on the computer to calm down. The fear lasted about 30 minutes, but was only really intense the first 5-10 minutes. After that, SWIM was calm and happy, as if in a sedated marijuana high, though with a clear mind.

SWIM was wondering what could have possibly been in the tab that would cause such a crash. SWIM enjoyed the experience, and would like to try it again, but would like to know if theres anything he can do to avoid another anxiety attack.

Who knows what's in a pill? What SWIY is describing could well be MDMA. Anxiety is not uncommon. Possibly SWIY is very sensitive to MDMA (which is lucky). Perhaps SWIY should try taking half to three quarters of a pill next time?

Test the pill to be assured of purity? Knowing one has safe, good product is a definite way to reduce anxiety. This goes for so many different drugs.

Swim thinks what Swiy described does not sound like MDMA. Hallucinations and sedated, marijuana like high? Wha? Doesn't match up for me.

Taking half a pill to start is an EXCELLENT idea!

XTC release lots of adrenalin and dopamine which can lead to an increase in anxiety, swiy says they want to repeat the drug, best bet is to buy drugs from a reputable dealer, take in an enviroment which feels comftable and no outside stimulus to make swiy anxious and possibly take a smaller dose to see what happens. If swiy still gets anxious then this obsiviously isnt the drug for SWIY...

Other people will no doubt add suggestions though swims gotta keep it breif as has to move..

Anxiety caused by MDMA is usually due to excessive dosing... I very much doubt the one pill would contain a high enough dosage of 200+mg of MDMA. This is based on my little fishys experience of course.

I'd be inclinded to agree with fiveleggedrat on this one. Doesn't sound like MDMA/MDA alone to me. There are no right and wrong answers in this thread however, because without knowing the contents of the pill everything is pure speculation.

The only real advice anyone can give SWIY is to get the pill tested and report back.

A friend of SWIM's took one pill on her her first time (the same batch had been tested by SWIM and other friends and gave mild buzz like many other pills). Her reaction was to curl up and feel nauseous. You never can tell!

Most people quite sensibly don't think that MDMA is a hallucinogen, but even some experienced users swear it's as psychedelic as LSD!

SWIM was not asking for specifics, just thoughts.

What sedated marijuana high meant was that calm, wanting to relax, not that energetic feeling SWIM started out with.

SWIM was told later by his dealer that the pill also contained mescaline, but I do not know much about it.

Mescaline is very rare and would be much more expensive than "Ecstasy", MDMA (which is what is supposed to be in E pills) is common. Dealers will say anything.

http://www.ecstasydata.org/ has analyzed a lot of pills. I believe none have contained mescaline (nor heroin nor cocaine). Ketamine which is hallucinogenic has been found. Without a lab analysis, no one will really ever know what a particular pill contained.

Yeah, Mesc is not going to be in an E pill. I found out myself today that cocaine has tested positive in certain pills. Dumb idea, but it happens apparently. Also, even though they have no pills with heroin in them recorded on that site, Swim can say he personally knew cooks who put H into pills. Obviously, they weren't selling real pills but fake/knockoffs.

First hallucinogenic experiences tend to cause such affects where you feel you died, or dieing or never will come back to the normal world. If this was your first hallucinogenic experience then that was your cause.

Some xtc can cause such mild hallucinations but if its your first time, you can still get scared pretty good.

To test the theory, take second tablet again. The result won't be as bad, especially if you are around other people.

Ecstasy would never contain mescaline. Find a new dealer because yours is either dumbass or liar. Ecstasy is VERY hallucinogenic if you are receptive to it. I am very hallucination receptive and usually feel everything like 15 minutes before anyone ever does. A good xtc people will cause ALMOST acid like hallucinations.

SWIM has also had a similar experience. He was rolling with his friend and his friend wasn't talking to him so SWIM started feeling very lonely, his heart started to race and he started to sweat but when SWIM started talking to someone he felt just fine.

nothing to worry about, probably just lonliness consideing that the drug has such powerful effect on emotion.
