This is the epic* joint, every possible aspect has been considered and mastered for an epic smoking experience. Before you do this, you must have an understanding of the inside out joint, so if you dont know how to roll an inside out joint stop right here and google "inside out joint" Once you understand the workings of the inside out joint we can continue. What i am about to share with you, is the skill to make a joint that which will shock everyone in the room, people will be in awe and will ask if yuo accept students. in most cases an epic joint will be passed around several times in a group just so each person can look in amazement at the literal Godlike ability one must have to create such a perfect masterpiece. Some people dont think this stuff matters, but it does, the way that a joint is rolled plays a major roll in how smooth it will be. infact once you can implement these skills, you will be able to roll tobaco so smooth that non-smokers wont even cough when taking a hit off of it. I kid you not. Now, onto the instructions. first you will need a few things: 1. pack of rizlas in the silver pack. 2. pencil 3. a ramrod with a slightly smaller circumfrence than the pencil. 4. tray 5. scissors first, take your scissors and cut a long strip of cardboard off of your pack of rizlas, roll it up. The idea behind this is to make it the exact circumfrence of the pencil. This however will NOT be used as a filter, as some folks tend to do, which i do not recomend because the hot smoke can create fumes which will alter the tase, Plus i will instruct you on how to create a good paper mouth piece later. now this is were we detor from the normal inside out joint. take you paper and wrap it around the pencil inside out style, wrap the paper around the pencil and lick where you think the sticky side is, causing it to soak through and stick to the sticky side. after you lick, use the area of skin between your bottom lip and chin, sliding across the paper enwrapped pencil to dry it completely. now you should have a paper tube with a pencil in it, with a "flag" hanging off to the side, take your lighter and light the flag on fire so that it burns away down to the seal. you might need to drag your flame around the seal for a few seconds lightly as if you where baking a joint to burn it all away. now you should have a perfect paper tube around your pencil, take your cardboard filter and slide the tube onto the filter. now you should have what appears to be a cigarette with nothing in it. now holding the joint by the cardboard end, shovel little bits of weed into it, i find that tilting the trey so that gravity pulls it down ward and poking at it with my finger is the best way to send weed down the tube. also tap it against a hard surface to make the weed settle into it, and use your ram rod to push it down. feel free to pound in a ton of weed, you can put an incredible amount of weed into it by packing it hard which will make the joint last a very very long time. its also required to grind your weed pretty finely, if you dont have a weed grinder just you need to go to the head shop instantly for 2 reasons. 1. You will never be able to grind it fine enough by hand. 2. By grinding it by hand the weed absorbs the oils from your skin which alters the taste. now once you have the paper tube filled with weed, twist off the end so that it acts as a wick. now i use tweezers, or a needle, but it is physically possible to do it with your fingers, pull the cardboard filter out of the other end, and what you want to do is fold it flat, then twist it and fold it flat again, do this a few times and it should look as if it is a piece of candy. your joint should look remotely like this ______ __l&am p;nb sp; \/\
l_______/\/
now for the mouth piece ( the end that looks like a candy wrapper) wet your lips ever so slightly, and bite the very end of the flaps off with your teeth, this will make the rizla paper pretty firm and twisted off into a perfect mouth piece. it should now look like this ______ __l \
l_______/ now to light the joint, you burn the very tip of the wick at the end, and then hold it upside down, it should take about 15 seconds after the flame has hit the joint, for the weed to actually start burning, hold it upside down the entire time.

the point behind this is so that the butane fire never touches your weed, this may sound trivial but it isnt, and when the wick its self lights the joint it will be lit perfectly evenly. so this is a very important step.

now you should have a joint that looks (and is) better than any joint rolled by a machine or by any other method.

the advantages to this is that minimal paper is used as all extra paper is burned away, but the very coolest part about this is that you can wrap your paper around anything to make a paper tube of any size, i once sealed 2 papers together and wrapped them around a tube that was thicker than a quarter and i was able to put about an ounce of weed into one joint, which is fucking graet for parties, although i you aer giong to do something as asininely ridiculous as that its best to use a sturdier paper than the silver pack rizlas. i imagine in the future, when weed is legal, and my backyard is infested with it, i will wrap papers around a base ball bat and make joints the size of baseball bats, with maybe a pound of weed in each one. the other side to this of course, is that you can make your tube around something thin, i can make a perfectly functional joint the circumfrence of a match stick. Now one other tip, the hardest part people run into (and this is what causes people to give up on joints) is that they do not understand the atitude that is required to "tuck" the sticky side under the paper. now this is important to know when rolling it around the pencil, but even more important to know if you are going to make a ghetto american style joint with your thumbs and pointer fingers. the secret to tucking the paper under, is to just roll it all in one swift movement, most people have never tried this, because they lack the confidence to just roll it. they will try to wedge little bits in under and tuck them in little bits at a time, or tuck it in at one end and then roll it under, all bad ideas, you just have to take it and roll it in one movement, most people never try this assuming it will just fold backward, but it doesnt. practice rolling with a pencil or tube instead of weed to really get a hang of it. Also there is much debate over stuffing vs rolling. rolling being like how a machine makes it, stuffing being, using a ramrod to shove it down. I believe in stuffing personlly, because it gives you much more choice as to how long you want the joint to last, you can pack it very lightly if you want, or very compounded where as you are much more limited with rolling to the amount in that which you can hold in your hands/machine without spilling. *Epic, being the at the end of the greatness spectrum, which goes in this order. Neat, Cool/Good**, Great, Mega, Super, Ultra, Epic, Ultimate.*** **Recent studies show that cool is the equivalent to good, anyone that tells you otherwise is mistaken. ***Ultimate is an infinite state, in that which it can never be achieved, it is the state that which is better than what can be done, Epic represents the best of something possible in our realm of understanding. where as something ultimate, would have no room for improvement. i made this image to explain the act of burning the flag.
purple=pencil red=paper yellow=fire ![]() once the fire touches the flag, it will burn away, leaving you with just the tube surrounding the pencil. |

I tried this with a king size rizla, but i wrapped it around the pen the wrong way and didn't get a "flag", on top of that, i got way more paper than is needed in a joint. It still looked good, but i'll give this epic one a try later on.
The thing is, when you roll it with a pen it doesn't have a joint shape. It's a straight cylinder, and its not very old-school. |

This is quite possibly the worst method ever, for rolling impressivejoints. First, it can not be classed as "rolling" a joint,it is mearly "packing" skins to form a joint. Second, the skill and ability needed to drop weed into a tube isn't reallythat impresive so i doubt it will shock or amaze anyone,in any room, ever. However, there is still hope for you. When you can master the ability to roll freehand without a pencil your joints will be much better and you will possess the true, "Godlike ability" one must achieveto leavean audience in awe and tobeginaccepting students. thats nuts dude, the skill isnt in overcoming a flawed practice, its creating a method that which ANYONE can use.
it uses the least amount of paper, easy to do, looks good (and i think a cylinder is best, less suspicious) plus when you pack a cylinder you have the option of packing it lightly for a fast smoke, hard hitting joint, or real packed for a longer burning joint. its the best of all worlds and you can make ridiculously big joints (thats what woo's the crowds) PLUS when you roll it by hand, the oils and salt off your skin soak into the paper which is no good. |

Packing is for pussies who cant roll. Rolling is an art, not a science. Creativity in form is important.

Americans cant roll good joints
. A joint ,as u said, should be rolled inside out, thin and tall. Thats the way I do it. Or very thin at the bottom and and somewhat fatter at the top with a "TIP" (paper mouth piece, its round with a M in the middle.) Plus the fact that stuffing takes to fucking long. Rolling a joint takes like 2 minutes. Its seems that ur project qish, takes 2 hours!P!MPJU!C3 |

People will scoff at this, but to make a perfect joint everytime use a
joint roller, they are so worth it and it literally only takes 10 seconds (from the time you grab your bag to the time you lick the paper) to make the perfect even joint. |

That's exactly how it's done. I always hate it when people roll short fat joints aka cannons. I'm a fan of the long thin one's myself too

joints as well as blunts should have shape to them...i like to make
mine smallest on the end you puff on, then getting fatter as they reach the middle and then tapering off a bit to be small on the other end...long and thin isnt always that great, but definitely better than a wide open fatty. joints should smoke smoothly, not blow your head off. thats what blunts are for ![]() |

Spliff should be rolled with two king size papers, stuck in a shallow V shape. inside outs are just for showing off at parties
