TEK - alcohol extraction info needed

alcohol extraction info needed

so swim did the extraction (using peruvian torch) and after soaking in the 99% isopropyl alcohol the solution has turned a very very dark green, what cause is this? swim figured it was the chlorophyl also being extracted. would there be any cause for concern? where may swim have gone wrong compared to the listed tek since the pictures show a brown colour instead of the green?
