Vaporizing - Vaporizing Opium Pods

I have searched throughout the forum, but I have been unable to find any information concerning my question. I am wondering if any swiys have ever successfully smoked ground up poppy pods from a vaporizer (if anyone had specific experiences with a hot-box brand it would be great). I have heard of it being done, but I don't know if there's any truth behind it.

I would say that vaporizing empty pods sounds pointless. The miniscule amounts of codeine and morphine don't make up for the raw mass the pods will provide.

If someone can do this and have it work, great for them! For everyone generally though, it sounds like it would take a GOOD amount of pods.

thanks! In the report I read, the subject ground up just one pod, and seemed to get a somewhat significant buzz, although he admitted to not having any previous tolerance.

I can imagine someone who is opiate naive (they get MUCH stronger stimulation with their first opiate) getting buzzed off vaping pods.

Swim used to get so much from very miniscule amounts of opioids.

Swim can also see someone vaping a pod with opium putty/whatever you want to call it still in there making some effects.

SWIM agrees with the above.Vaporizing the "pod" would probably be pointless.Now the sap is a diffrent story .For dired florals tea would be most effective as well as chewing them up.

you'd probably have to make some opium from several pods. even some strong tea that you then evaporate into a brown water-soluble powder.

you can search around for the recipe. basically, you can either evaporate the water content, or (possibly) freeze the water out, leaving yourself with a very raw 'opium'. Now it escapes my mind whether or not this is smokeable. i want to say that it isn't, but might not be a bad idea to at least TRY vaporizing. -DICK
