Whats with these? I hear that they are time released ritalin. To get the same effects from a normal dose of ritalin, do people just chew a concerta, or perhaps parachutte it?

Yeah you can do that to get the effects faster. Concerta is a time
released ritalin, it lasts up to 12 hours and SWIM finds it to be
really hard to sleep after taking these cause they last so long and the
crash is a bit slower, but not as intense with usual amphetamines. If
you are looking for a bit more energy or need to stay up later concerta
is perfect for it, SWIM works a night labor job and concerta is a good
friend of his for this.

Good luck chewing a concerta, it takes a hammer to crush the
bastards. They are time released ritalin, used to have
them. They gave me an upset stomach though, so i got switched to
adderall .

Chewin a couple of them definately doesn't increase the fun effects, just gives a bad crash later on. These things suck. Adderal is way better.

Yeah, chewing them is a tough thing, even when using a mortar and a
pestol it still requires a bit of arm strength...they must make these
to survive a nuclear blast.

it's simple, use a razor blade to remove the outer coating, then there
will be a thin wax-like coating under that, which should also be
removed, the there will be 3 laters, the top is the nozle, middle is
drug (methylphenidate) end part is the spunge I believe, cut off,
nozzle and spunge and you will be left with methylphenidate perhaps a
couple other additives but it really gets out a lot of the junk...

good luck

SWIM chewed 2 36 milligram concertas and it gave a somewhat pleasent buzz for about 2-3 hours, then a terrible crash. This stuff sucks! It's better for an extended gental energy boost.

worth it in my opinion.

SWIM loves concerta. He is on it right now in fact, for his third time. He doesn't find the crash to be so bad. He always swallows either 54 or 108 mg so far, never snorted concerta but he has snorted adderall.

i used to be on "Concerta" 54 mg's of it, but last week i got switched to "Adderall" for my ADHD, i've blown concerta many many times, for people who dont know a good way of breaking it up,here is what i did,

1) wash off the outer coating of the pill until it comes off, leaving you w/ a waxy layer

2) find a metal pasta strainer or cheese grater an break that biatch up

the thing w/ concerta is that the crash is BAD... with two B's, an another thing i found is that most of that doesnt even make it up your nose, its by-far the stickiest substance i have ever put up my nose and in my opinion is a waste of the medication, also because it wears off so fast

today was my first day getting concerta, i recently got a
perscription... all i did was chew on the outer layer till it could
peel off. once i got it off, i bit the tip off of one of the ends and
scraped the brown shit out. then i did the same to the other side. I
was left with the main shit and i just used a safety pin to scrape it
all onto a surface. then i cut it up and blew it. but i must say they
were A LOT more difficult to break than i expected.

when you scrape off the layer of color on the pills make sure to save
it, the outer layer contains about a third or so of the dose, probably
less actually, btu still some. Concerta isnt too good for abusing,
which is why its so widely prescribed, but it works wodners for ADD.

Ive tried chewing them up before, abnd it works alright...but the
chewing of it is really unpleasant and tastes gross.

just tell the doctor that concerta is making you really tired and its
not really fixing the problem, see if u can go fo radderal or
dexedrine, those are both nice as shit.

or if ur lucky u can go for prescription meth, i forgot what its called,
hmmm, well i cant remember. Whatever look into it.

I just got a prescription for concerta today. I took an 18 mg a couple
hours ago... all I feel is like I have better concentration. I feel a
little stimulated and "happy", but I bet that's just a placebo effect.
I was only prescribed concerta instead of adderall because the doctor
said that concerta has a lower chance of causing a panic attack. My
anxiety disorder is completely gone and I haven't had a panic attack in
three years. I told her that, and she said that if I can go a month on
concerta without any anxiety, I can switch to adderall if I want to.

And you know how you're warned not to take amphetamines if you have a
history of Tourette's syndrome? I haven't been diagnosed with TS and my
parents don't believe me that I have it, but I swear to god I get the
symptoms exactly. Anyway, so far, concerta has actually HELPED my TS.
Usually I'm blinking my eyes and moving my face muscles and all kinds
of shit a lot, but I haven't had any compulsions to since I took it.

These are easy as hell to break. Just get a Gerber multitool or
leatherman, put it between the main part, and squeeze. breaks extremely
easy and can be taken apart (sponge, etc) well.
