Effects - First experience with Adderall(XR)

Well it was SWIM's first experience ever with any type of Adderall. SWIM got a hold of some 20 mg Adderall XR. SWIM didn't know they were XR until after he left. Once SWIM found out they were XR he was kind of bummed because SWIM heard stories about the beads and how they were hard to abuse.

Now SWIM doesn't snort so he was thinking what could he do with it since he only had one. SWIM took apart the capsule to check the beads out but wasn't thinking. A few beads fell out and SWIM just tried the best thing he could think of...chewing them. SWIM chewed as many as he could.

Now SWIM went to the dance he was going to and didn't feel a thing. Fast forward probably 5ish hours later SWIM thinks he might be feeling something. He kind of feels a little bit of tingling/numbness all over. Maybe a tiny bit of euphoria. Energy level...maybe a little boosted but nothing serious. SWIM doesn't know if this is the Adderall or if he is stupid. To be honest SWIM doesn't even know if the way he took it even works.

Any help would be appreciated.

Chewing them is basically like crushing the beads, refilling the cap, and eating. It all goes to the same place and should be felt within 30 minutes to 1 hour. Now if it was snorted then effects are felt within probably 5 minutes.

Even when ingesting the cap as-is, effects will still probably be felt within an hour. No matter what, it does not take 5 hours for one to feel the effects of Adderall XR, though the effects may last longer than that. It was most likely placebo if nothing was felt until the 5 hour mark. Hope that helps.

some of it may have stuck in between teeth and under tongue and anywhere while swiy was chewing.
next time swiy should get at least 60mgs and just take it normally.and drink some caffeine,it intensifies and prolongs the amphetamine.

Has swiy ever been diagnosed, or suspected of having ADHD? If swiy has this syndrome, then the adderall would not necessarily have a stimulating effect, in fact, it may help swiy to focus and calm down. (Lets not get into a debate about the dubious nature of ADHD, swim is simply referencing medical studies)

SWIM has never been diagnosed with ADHD. He wouldn't be surprised if he had ADD but not ADHD. He's a pretty calm person But hey you never know...

I guess it could of been placebo. SWIM probably is going to try and experiment with some IR or at least a bigger dose of XR in the future.
