Question Sertraline (US: Zoloft) with DF118 - cause of opioid tolerance? seratonin syndrome?

Dougal posted earlier about DF118 tolerance, and has since read through a lot more of the threads.

Dougal takes SSRI Sertraline (Zoloft in the states) 200mg daily, prescribed. Since starting this...(50mg, in march / april) Dougal has noticed how her DF118 tolerance has reduced DRAMATICALLY. She had previously not connected the two. GP, and consultant psychologist knows she takes both, and both have checked several times re: contraindications. However, SSRIs seem to be a common thread in regards to raising DF118 / codiene tolerance.

Anyone with experience of Sertraline / DF118 know if this is the case specifically with these medications.

Is there anything Dougal can do about it?

If not, this is a pretty cruddy side effect to a so called 'happy pill'. 12 years of Dougal managing her tolerance to her prescribed df118, just for it to be knocked dead in 6 months.

Also anyone with info on the risks of seratonin syndrome with the above in mind?
