Extraction - Have any swimmers extracted kratom w/ a soxhlet?

A FOF Has a soxhlet extractor and a bunch of kratom leaf sitting around.

I read that some swimmer uses water as a solvent but i was wondering if anyone has experience extracting kratom using a soxhlet

It would help swims driend a lot

Hey,
I have tried extracting Kratom with a soxlet apparatus with really good results using dichloromethane (methylene chloride). I still do prefer extracting Kratom with vinegar with a gentle boil, I believe this method extracts more of the spectrum of alkaloids.
Dichloromethane seems to only remove the water insoluble components of the Kratom, as well as a bit of chlorophyll.
Still never tried using other solvents in the soxlet though.

thanx for the info.
He usually uses pre extracted kratom, but he has all this leaf and a soxhlet....so he figured it my be good to extract but if you think vinegar/water pulls more of the full spectum...that might be best.
