Piperazines & MAOIs

I wanted to confirm that a mix of piperazine & MAOIs is not safe.

I was looking for that, I finnally I couldn't find any studies about this...



With knowing that:

"The BZP/TFMPP combination mimics the neurochemicalmechanism of MDMA"

We can easily conclude that the mix is bad.



Do you agree ?? Or is not so simple?

No, most antidepressants these days are SSRIs.


I'm not aware of any indication that combining piperazines and MAOis would be dangerous, which isn't to say they're safe.

Actually, ignore my previous message. I mixed up what MAOIs and SSRIs are. Silly mistake.

what general structure do MAOI's affect? BzP has 2 nitrogens in it, one
is full surrounded wit carbons (making me think that it will be safe
from MAOI's) and the other has 2 carbon and a hydrogen. Will that
hydrogen fuck it up?

From a little cruising through pubmed, it appears that piperazines are seretogenic drugs. MAOI's and serotogenic chemicals/plants are a bad mix in legal pharmacology and IMHO a bad mix in guerilla pharmacology.

For the record, I think the same way about mixing SSRIs with MAOI plants & chemicals. Everyday on my way to get the mail I pass by a little puppet show and stop to watch how sertraline, bupropion, and topiramate are getting along. But if those kids decide to bring in an Ayahuasca puppet one day, I'm not sticking around to see it get ugly.
