Dose - Giant bottle of ketamine??

Ok so this swim that swim knew has a friend who had a dream..

In this dream swim was being told by a friend who is a chemist, that she has a bottle of ketamine that is 100ml and 100mg to every ml. This would make the bottle contain 10,000 mg of ketamine(cough, cough).

So anyways this girl is a chemist but unfortunately she seems to have warped her brain with way way to much high grade opiates and telazol.


Any swim ever seen such a monstrosity or ever heard of one..
After searching the site and the internet swim can not find any bottle of k that contains more than 1,000mg of ketamine...

Swim believes that swim can read a label so if swim had it there would not be a problem.

But swim is being told over the telegraph by the chemist about it.. the chemist is allways on way to much telazol and hydromorphone... its a shame.. she had so much talent worked for some forensics labs.

back on topic.. anybody ever hurd or seen of this giant mythological bottle.

swim doesn't believe a word of it besides that there is a large bottle of k. that's why hes asking here just to make sure hes correct.

Ok... lol swim found a 50ml vial 100mg per ml... so its getting somewhat plausible.

The loose powder had been taken on-site from two 25 kilogram drums, both also factory-sealed and labelled as containing ketamine hydrochloride

Yes swims chemist friend is a liquid vial.

Ketamine is available in three different concentrations - 10mg/ml, 50 mg/ml and 100 mg/ml. The 10 mg/ml is for intravenous use; the 50 mg/ml and 100 mg/ml preparations are for intramuscular use. If only one strength is to be kept in a hospital, the 50 mg/ml ampoule is the best compromise as this may be diluted down to 10 mg/ml for intravenous injections.

Quick google there and this was obtained....

After looking closely at some 10ml containers they are in fact 10ml of ketamine @100mg/ml knowing not much of how it powders back and hoping someone can step in here but if 10@100gm/ml = 1 gram then the botle of 100ml at 100mg/ml is 10 grams??

I seen a bottle like that before but it wasnt Ketamine it was a horse tranquilizer, my girlfriend got it from her dads work. he trains horses. I tried to cook it, but it didnt work

Makes sense actually since for use in stables etc since ketamine is .04-.08 MG/KG and horse weigh a substantial amount more than a human a vial of anything less would ultimetally be a massive pain in the arse.

Ok, Swim is a bit confused now.

Take the following:
(a) 10ml bottle of 10mg/ml = 100mg = 0.1g
(b) 10ml bottle of 50mg/ml = 500mg = 0.5g
(c) 10ml bottle of 100mg/ml = 1000mg = 1.0g

With regards to (a), if you cooked the whole bottle would you end up with 0.1g of crystals?
With regards to (b), if you cooked the whole bottle would you end up with 0.5g of crystals?
With regards to (c), if you cooked the whole bottle would you end up with 1.0g of crystals?

With regards to (a), if you wanted to yield 1.0g of crystals, would you need to cook up 10 bottles?

Read it out loud.

10 milligrams divided into every millilitre.

Remembering 1000 millitre per litle and one litre is equal to one kilogram

So if 1000millilitres at 10mg/ml therefor 10 000mg or 10 grams

So 10grams per litre
aka 1 gram per 0.100 litres (100ml)
aka 10 vials(10ml each) consisting of 10mg/ml solution of ketamine.

Your logic is right in swiD opionion but there is probably risk of some minimal loss when cooking back but like swiD said earlier he is unfamilar and knows this logic to be true if you were starting with powder.

This forum has digressed massively. The original post was about a 10g vial of k... It is 100ml with 100 mg per militer.. Swim dose not know why swiys are stuck on this idea that you take the mg and multiply it by the mls and get the total mg... 100x100 is 10,000 mg or 10gs of k..

Back to the subject is there larger vials of ketamine then 1000mg vials...

Doubt it anything else would be powder and diluted into a liquid when needed in swiD opinion as there is a shelf life on liquid Ketamine but doesnt appear to be the same with powder.
