gbl in the us

sry, havent searched the forums for this but im looking for an answer. what exactly is the legal status of buying gbl in the us? do i have to have a chemical license? i know nobody will give me a source, so im not gonna ask that. its just that gbl has quite a few practical applications and uses, but its damn near impossible to find it for sale anywhere. found some companies that claim to sell it, but i would have to call. any suggestions on what line to use? im sure they would question my purpose. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanx in advance

Don't even bother trying to purchase pure GBL from a real company unless you have a list 1 license, end transmission.

If you try ordering GBL from any chemical supplier in the US, they are required to notify the DEA. Even if you just call.

If you type GBL into google you will find a company that advertises it
in the google ads on the right. They are a UK company, I'm not sure if
they ship to the US.

Some places call it ink cleaner.

It's called many different things, ink remover, glue debonder, nail
polish remover, but you will never be able to order it directly in the
United States. The best you can hope for is finding and OTC
product with a legitimate real use, that contains GBL. They
are out there.
