Opinions - effectiveness of a whip cream dispenser?

Swim is pondering a few things about NO. Swim is interested in trying this but feels the most convenient way of getting/dosing is via whip cream can bought at the grocery store. Swim's question is... How many cans would one need to get a nice first time "high"? Also, I understand putting your mouth directly on the nozzle isn't a good idea or is that only for cartridges?

Instead of saying use the search engine why not just answer him or point him in the right direction. For the effort it took SWIY to type that SWIY could have answered the guy.

Really whipped cream cans are too expensive. What SWIY need really is a charger with nitrous cartridges. SWIY can buy them on the net. SWIM would give a link but that might be against the rules. Also use a balloon. SWIM dont ant u to freeze SWIYlips or throat!!

Incredibly wasteful!

Just get some proper nitrous cream chargers. It'll work out much cheaper and much less hassle in the end.

Although SWIJunkhead23 and SWIdave-o are right that obtaining a cream dispenser or cracker and a box of whippets/cartridges/nangs/caps and a few balloons is alot more efficient and cheaper, SWIM can understand people don't want to invest in all that just to try it out.
SWIM would suggest 3-4 cans, a regular can worked out for SWIM to be one and a half lung fulls. SWIM would still suggest using balloons, as this stops the risk of inhaling cream and allows SWIY to recycle the nitrous and get more from it. Out of a whipped cream can the gas will not be so cold but will still come out under pressure which could be harmful if SWIY has their lips firmly sealed around it.

SWIM might try canned whipped cream as a 1st experience, but its very wasteful and expensive that way

SWIM says make sure the whip cream cans are right side up for atleast 20mins. before attempting this. Inhale from the tip of the can (DO NOT INHALE DIRECTLY FROM ANY OTHER DISPENSER!) while the tip is facing right side up... keep inhaling until the whip cream starts dispensing... swallow cream, and start breathing the gas in and out of a balloon.

Whip cream is expensive, but the chargers and a cream dispenser. It's not costly at all... do a search for PureWhip cartridges, get yourself a pint cream dispenser... you can find them relatively cheap

24grams of Nitrous bought from a store in the form of whip cream cans is equal to about 400-500grams bought in the form of chargers, pricewise.

well, Swim just tried N2O for the first time intentionally from a whip cream canister...got about a lungfull of gas, then tried but failed to exhale it into a balloon to get replay value.

it was a nice few seconds...lots of tinglies in the face.

Swim will experiment more when he gets his hands on some chargers.

so yeah, Swim thinks it's good for the curious Swimmer, but not so good for the frequent diver.
