sleeplessness after 12 hours?
Swim doesn't have much tolerance at all towards amphetamines. He took maybe half a 54mg concerta maybe twice a week for a month for work, stopped for a about a month, and decided to take some right before work yesterday. Swim attempted to break the 54mg pill into half but it ended up more like 3/4 and a 1/4. Anyway, swim took the 3/4 pill about 1 hour before work (1:00pm'ish) and the 1/4 pill at about 2:45pm. He was feeling nice and speedy until around 7 or 8pm, just working like a dog.
Swim got off work at 10:30pm and smoked some ganja around 11:30pm and felt that real speedy effect comeover again. swim was playin some video games in his room and actually had to stop and try to calm down because his heart felt like it was beating 5 times a second and he felt kind of uncomfortable. After a while the speedy effects wore off and he smoked another bowl. Swim went to bed at around 2:30am but could not fall asleep and he could tell it was from the speed still. Swim was wondering if this was normal to not fall asleep after almost 14 hours after dosing. He is also wondering if it was the ganja that kind of brought the effects back on? He was feelin almost back to normal before he smoked the bowl, then afterwards that speedy effect came back. |

Re: sleeplessness after 12 hours?
swim's first time trying ritalin, he dosed all day till around 6. Try as hard as possible to catch some sleep for several hours only waiting till 11am the next day to accomplish it. swim experienced wierd eye-lid twitching while trying to sleep under the influence. he noticed a bowl or two helped bring a wave of tiredness on (Nature telling you to go the Fuck to sleep for god's sake) but I guess drugs effect everyone differently, only way to find out is to experience it yourself.

"Swim got off work at 10:30pm and smoked some ganja around 11:30pm and felt that real speedy effect comeover again. swim was playin some video games in his room and actually had to stop and try to calm down because his heart felt like it was beating 5 times a second and he felt kind of uncomfortable." SWIM gets the exact same effect, THC increases heart rate. What is very interesting is the time... did SWIY have anything along the lines of tobacco, caffeine, or mass amounts of sugar / cheese at night?
In SWIM's case, and common conception, any amphetamine will affect one throughout the day, including sleep. at the time of 7-8 as mentioned, did you feel the effects wane or dissipate? Amphetamines effect everyone differently, and oral intake takes the longest to work through your system. 8+ hours is a long time but its very possible. THC is a very tricky chemical and does many little things... have you had previous ritalin and THC interactions and were they uneventful? "Swim was wondering if this was normal to not fall asleep after almost 14 hours after dosing" I assume the other times you had no problem? Its important that someone knows how previous experiences have turned out for comparisons... Did you do / take anything else out of the ordinary? |
