I recenlty read in a newspaper how americans were being hospitalized (im not sure how true that is) because high grade canadian bud is being imported and blowing them off there asses, this made me truly proud to be a canadian, and now the US DEA wants canada to put it on the "hard drug list" HA

That just sounds like anti-marijuana talk. I think the government made
that up so people would be like "wow, marijuana hospitalized these
people! I dont want it to be legal anymore"... it sounds like some lie
they would make up. If it is true though, im not sure how it could put
someone in a situation like that unless they smoked like 2 ounces or
ingested LARGE quantities of it. Either way, it was ignorance on the
part of the people who smoked it.

This could be a fake news story put out by the government's propaganda machine. I'm sure you folks have read about the local news fiasco around the country where the major network affiliates were airing government-made news segments (in a very unethical manner). This could be another form of that.


However it could be real, and it could be real and government propaganda at the same time. Emergency room admitance over drug use is very dubious to say the least. I've been brought there against my will on several occasions, none of which warranted medical intervention. Once when I was living with my folks I was nodding out on the sofa and my sister thought I was dying of a drug overdose and called 911 without even approaching me.


I remember once like 7 years ago I was in high school getting some kid stoned. This kid was an idiot, we were out in the woods smoking some pretty killer nug I got from vermont. After about 5 or 6 hits he started ranting and raving "dude i've never been so high before" "what's in this weed" "there's something else in it, what did you put in it?!?!" Tons of shit along these lines. He was in this DARE mindset that people actually "lace" (such a cheasy word) pot and sell itto unsuspecting buyers. It took me some time to calm this pussy shit down. Now picture this same kid getting stoned by himself on really killer nug at his parents house. Who would he turn to when he's freaking out over nothing? Probably mom and dad, and the emt's and emergency room doctors who would tell him there is only pot is in his system. Then the newspapers would get a hold of the story and say pot is causing hospital visits because its just soooo strong. It could happen.

If someone had so much paronia that they thought they was posioned and then they went to the hospital that's the only thing i can think of that would send someone just high off marijuana to the hospital.

Anyone who has smoked bud from the west coast of the states will tell you that theirs is amongst the best in the world.... It really is one of those stories that is put out to make it look like America's drug problems come from mexico and canada, south america and the middle east... Anywhere but home.

I also heard that a lot of quality bud from Canada is going to the
states lately, but then I guess bud from all over the world could be
doing the same. A funny fact about weed in Canada: I read in the
newspaper that BC's (British Columbia's) major export last year was
weed. I forgot the exact number but it was in the billions. I mean that
just shows how this is starting to become a major industry

Weed CAN put you into the hospital...but like noted before...only because ppl can be IDIOTS. People get all paranoid and crap...look. If ya smoke some weed and relax...instead of having an anxiety attack and making your heart race so fast it doesn't pump the blood out of your heart effectively enough and so THAT allows some blood to CLOT in your heart...and that goes to your brain and gives you a stroke......then they should NEVER end up in the hospital. It's like this....next time anyone has anxiety on it.....tell yourself....I've smoked it before.....I'm being a MORON.....then go find something else to DO with your brain!!! That simple.


BC's largest export income last year was indeed WEED. If you live in BC...light one up and tell the rest of the world to kiss your ass...there just jealous you prove the theory of pothead=not motivated looser to be MUTE.


It is NOT legal in Canada to possess Marijuana. PERIOD. It is only a fine of $85 (roughly) depending on your province....when you are caught possessing 15grams or less. They write you the fine....take your weed....kick ya ass down the street. That's it...THAT'S all. Jailtime is restricted to GROWERS and TRAFFICKERS etc....not Mr. Taxpayer 4 joints a day Dude.
