Health - Anyone got some help for clearing swims lungs

Swim got a cold about two weeks ago and since then he has been coughing up thick goobers that taste like cigarettes(even though he hasn't smoked a cigarette since he got sick). Swim is pretty sure is is from the weed he has been smoking(a couple joints a day). Does anybody have any ideas besides stopping smoking.? (he tried that for a few days, but it didn't help very much) Has anybody else had similar symptoms?

That would be your lungs cleaning out the shit you've been smoking for months for you. SWIM has known many friends quitting cigs who talk about coughing that shit up for weeks after.

unfortunately swiy needs to take a short break from smoking. obviously stopping for a few days isn't going to make a difference. with weed, it's both physically and mentally beneficial to abstain for a month or two every now and then. It takes time to clear everything out of one's system, and swiy's lungs could probably use a rest from all the smoking. There are other benefits to taking a break...for one, swiy's mind will probably feel alot clearer and swiy will have more energy. also, when swiy goes back to smoking after a break, the weed will have a more powerful effect.
