Cebil/Yopo snuff pain avoidance

Swim was wondering what experiences there may be as to reducing the pain from insufflating cebil/yopo snuff.

Having an accomplice to blow the snuff into ones nasal cavity as the native discoverers of cebil/yopo do, reduces the pain somewhat, yet it is still a little teary.

There is some advice in reducing the pain by insufflating a small amount of cocaine prior to the snuff, so as to numb the nasal cavity.

However, adding a certain Class A substance to something which here in the UK is in a grey area (cebil itself apparently is not illegal, but may fall into being a bufotenine prep, which certainly is a class A by itself) but not actually scheduled is not an ideal situation.

Swim has discovered that a little kava-kava dissolved into a tea spoon full of water and insufflated into the nostril to be used for the cebil/yopo has a wonderfully numbing effect. Insomuch as there is no nasal pain whatsoever. It even goes towards removing some of that horrible sinus throb. Although a slight pain/discomfort appears some hours after the experience has faded, swim found cebil intake a few minutes after kava intake to be most rewarding. Ofcourse this "after" nasal pain can be overcome by the use of yet a little more kava/water mixture insufflated into the offending nostril.

Was wondering if there were any more pain reducing tactics out there (maybe one for the extreme nausea/vomiting?)

Proper preparation of the snuff helps too. SWIM's nose greatly felt the difference between well-made snuff and poorly made snuff.

The well made snuff burns at first...but very mildly....and then sloughs off to a numbness.

SWIM used 69ron's method.

He has yet to try someone else blowing it into swim's nose tho.

The best way to use Yopo/Vilca is to make an extract and smoke it. It's stronger that way and with much less side effects than snorting it.

SWIM forgot to say s/he used a 40% kavalactone powder. It was tried using unadulterated kava root powder and the pain relief was not total, ouch, but more pleasant than without.

Re: Cebil/Yopo snuff pain avoidance

SWIM has no experience with Yopo but read on another forum that used with a nose spray it is less painful but probably also weaker. SWIM would extract it with an acid, then pepare it with lime and pour it into the nosespray.

Personally swim dosn't know what everyone is on abvout. Snorting yopo isn't bad at all in his experience. Big fat lines no worries.
