Combinations - Will Benzodiazepines Halt a Bad Trip?

SWIM is considering having another go at mushrooms, since he has 20g (dried) left over from his grow. He had his first trip go terribly wrong last time and it frightened him a great deal. SWIM's experience would have been so much better if he had a way to halt the trip when he wanted to, after about 5 hours when things went out of his mind delirious and he lost control of his mental faculties.

Is this possible? SWIM thought he read somewhere that Clonazepam could halt a trip but can't remember where he read that now. Sifting through his medicine cabinet tonight looking for Ambien or Xanex he came across a bottle of 1mg Clonazepam pills that he didn't even know he had.

It would be a great co-incidence if this were true and Clonazepam had the ability to halt a trip mid-experience.
