Injecting - whats going on with SWIMs veins??

Its bad being female cause we have tiny veins that are hidden quite far under the surface, for cave man reasons that SWIM can't quite remember.
SWIM has no access to veins in her arms due to thrombosis and veins in her hands that used to be prominent have sort of disappeared. All of a sudden they have gone into hiding. Even ones left alone for ages are still fucked. SWIM has seen addicts that have used for years that have better veins than her.
Does any other swimmer have similar vein problems? SWIM would be interested to hear from other females especially.
