Dose - Eating LSD for a week: Tolerance?

SWIM was curious, if he he kept eating acid for a week straight would he eventually not feel it if he took the same dose every time? Is it possible to trip for days and days at a time?

if Swiy doses big and more than once, yes, Swiy will most likely trip for more than one day...but who on earth would want to do that? surely after ten hours it'd be like "ooookay when is it gonna be over...?"

if Swiy continually dosed through multiple days, Swiy would need to take larger and larger doses to maintain the trip, to the point where it would take way more than is economical to use at once.

SWIM has done this and it definitely gets to the point where the acid doesn't matter. If one takes it for more than three days in a row, unless they up their dose gigantically, the brain will slowly begin to integrate "psychedelic consciousness" into "waking consciousness"--the two will be indistinguishable. The brain will block out a lot of the visual and time/space distortions as being "uninteresting" or even mundane. The person will feel almost completely "normal" on the inside--perhaps with the exception of colors standing out a bit more and some very hazy visuals--but to the outside viewer the user will most-likely appear to be acting very strange. The person will probably begin to form very strange, sometimes nonsensical notions about the world and the way that it works. Assuming they are psychologically intact before taking it, they will most-likely return to normal.

If your friend wants to feel really "weird" for a week--constantly giving himself a headache trying to reach for that first day's dazzling experience and wasting tons of LSD in the process, then SWIM'd say go for it.

Well, SWIM did it. He dosed continually for about a 50 hour period. He was almost at baseline at one point, but then ate 3 more hits of really really strong stuff, then another one. And then a fifth, but he let a cute girl lick it off his tongue . Either way, the visuals weren't as intense the second day, but were definitely there. At the end of the 50 hours, a beautiful goddess fell asleep in his arms. He decided to join her so he insufflated anywhere from 3-5mg of Xanax (he forgets how many he did... whoops!). Either way, he forgets what happened after this. All he remembers is staring at the texture of his goddess's skin. It was so perfect. When he held his vision still, the lines in her skin formed into tiny (almost microscopic) worms that were moving all over her body. SWIM was not afraid, he just held her tighter and apparently fell asleep.

He awoke about 27 hours later. NEVER DOING THAT AGAIN. Although it was plenty amazing (the entire time he was at parties and being around other people who were tripping. The goddess had been dosing with me the entire time), he won't ever do this again. He definitely needed it, but the risk involved is too much. Sometimes SWIM has things to do and can't be on acid the entire time, haha. Plus he doesn't like sleeping through a full day.

Bongo found that continuously taking LSD, one can reach a low-level plateau and maintain it for over a week - pissing-off his roommate to no end (which was his intention in the first place!).

Not suggested to neophytes of psychedelic head-states. Or if one has important tasks that require attention. For pissing-off unbearable roommates who whine: "Why won't you ever trip with me??" - it works like a charm. Soon the moron changes their tune to "Why won't you stop tripping??" Bwahahahaha!

Reminds swim of his old experiments of small doses of lsd(1/20) a hit being an anti-depressant that some how extended for months.

Yeah, when SWIM was experimenting he hit that low level plateau after a week of use and stayed there for another month or two without touching the stuff to his tongue. After coming down completely it took a lot of work to remember what he did for fun in normal consciousness, haha. After the visuals stop assaulting you, it really starts to plumb the depths of the unconscious and SWIM personally enjoys this aspect greatly. Plus getting good and weird every once in a while is always a positive. Weird is just another word for free!
