Why do all named brand bongs such as ROOR, Hurricane, Gspot, Molino, etc. All have slider bowls
and kick holes/carbs.
This is a useless feature IMO, and Phaze could live without a carb. A bong does not have to have a carb. Also a bong is harder to clear the further up the carb is from the bowl. Ie if the carb is an inch above the bowl the smoke will not clear from that inch below.
If it has a slider bowl, why does it need a carb in the first place, because a slider bowl cuts the smoke off completely, and allows air to fill the bong from the exact same place the smoke was filling it(dead bottom of bong) from leaving a flawless clear. A carb offers no such behavior, so why would it be a standard feature.
Phaze has used many bongs in his day, and as luck would have it has a bong right infront of him that has a slider bowl, plus a carb. Now swiy could develope a system of pulling the bowl up and starting to clear it and then letting the finger off the carb once the smoke got higher than the hole. But this is a hassle, and no lie the bong infront of him has duct tape over the carb.
Cheaper aspects of the bong market.
Everyone has seen a acrylic bong that has a screw in bowl (no pulling the bowl out/slider) and has a carb. Now these bongs (the straight acrylic/plexiglass) are actually as good of a hitter as a 1000 dollar bong. If swiy can find one that has no carb and a slider bowl the quality of this cheap made crap bong goes through the roof up into the top bongs. These are a rare find, and most have carbs.
So why do we keep seeing carbs on the new bongs. What is with this, is Phaze missing something. 90% of the bongs on the market have carbs, why?
It seems, that the best bongs, are not sold online in masses or anywere else for that matter, but are just the cheap no name random glass blower who made a glass bong without a carb featured in a headshop in nowheresville who didn't slap a brand on there glass.
