Drug info - Dihydrocodeine help

Hi, SWIM had an operation recently, and was given 28 x 30mg dihydrocodeine. He has decided tonight to enjoy a higher than prescribed dose.

0 hours : 2 x 30mg

+1 hours : 1 x 30mg

+2 hours : 1 x 30mg

Total = 120mg , after a meal

He feels great, but would like to check if that is a reasonable and safe course for peace of mind. Does anyone know?

He'd also appreciate knowing if anyone thinks a small amount of ketamine would be safe.

Not sure about the K, but the 120mg of dihydrocodeine is a safe amount to take. Swim has had much higher doses.. Not advising swiy to do the same.

Cheers. Although right now (+3hrs 20mins) effects have almost gone, my friend tells me. He's decided to have a little k, not too much. Thanks for the help

SWIM used to take the same tablets and he used to have 10 at a time, sometimes 15. That was obviously after a tolerance build up, but he found after long periods of no usage, 5 at once would really hit the spot.

Does anyone have any idea what the maximum temperature you can heat DHC to is? Before it starts to break down, SWIM means. SWIM knows it's just over 80 C for morphine, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's the same for other opiates/oids...any SWIMmers got any info on this?

Basically SWIM is interested in doing a CWE and then evaporating away most or all of the water, which is SLOOOW at room temperature.

SWIM was wondering if it would be safe to combine DHC and Ketamine. He is thinking no but would like someone with more knowledge to confirm. Thanks
