hi swim want's to know whats classed as personal amounts for pills and mdma in the uk, if swim was to go out with 5gms would that be alot and classed as intent to supply

5 grams of pills or molly? 5 Grams is an awful lot of either. Either 14 pills or ~50 molly trips.

Average dose is 100 mgs, in the USA, one pill would be a heap of trouble. 5 grams would major trouble.

yea, swim actually knew a kid who got busted with 3 oz of molly. damnnnn. sentenced to 23 years. bt after becoming a rat and getting wired he never served time. also a minor when he was caught. his adivce to the world, NEVER ORDER ILLEGAL DRUGS ON THE NET EVER.

It depends who you are, what mood the police are in, whether they need to make up the prosecution quotas that month.

If you're a 45 year old bloke who'se worked all his life and has no convictions you're going to be treated differently to if you are an unemployed 25 year old who has a record as long as his arm. Even if you are caught with exactly the same amount of drugs.

A friend had about 6 pills on him when he was busted I believe he was able to make it out without an intent to deal charge. This being in NY State. Not sure the precedents in England.

If I recall correctly the limit of pills one can carry for personal use is 10, anymore than that can lead to possession with intent to supply charges. This information is about 3 years old and at the time there was a push to raise this limit to 20+ as that was what one typically reported for a weekends use. Not sure if this ever happened.

I would hazard a guess at 1g of MDMA being the limit.

The home office (UK) produced a consultative document back in 2005 "seeking views on the quantity of a controlled drug found in a person's possession above which a court will presume that it was held with intent to supply others."

They produced a summary document of the 66 responses received, but as far as SWILL is aware, they took it no further than this (unless someone can point SWILL in the direction of something to the contrary).

So there is no law regarding this and any 'guidelines' used are at the discretion of individual officers and the cases involved.

SWILL does believe that the guideline for E pills was 10, but there is no hard and fast rule. Other factors will be taken into consideration like other paraphenalia found (baggies, scales, etc) or whether or not they have previous.

Thanks Lunar Loops that is what I was referring too. I also believe nothing further came of it as if it did I'm sure many members of this forum would be well aware of such good news. :P

I looked around on google a bit but can't find anything to suggest otherwise.

what do you think if swim was to go out with some mates of his and they split the 5g up between them or would it be more safe to have the 5g all to gether

In terms of being caught it would be better for 5 people to carry a gram each. That way if caught each person would be done for possession only and in most cases (in the UK at least) would get away with a caution (if it's a first offence).

However, one person with 5 grams risks a charge of possession with intent to supply.

Each case is judged on it's own merits. It would be wise for any SWIMers to only carry only what they intend to use.
