Experiences - UK Lager Drinkers

What is your favourite lager and why? What do you base your favourite beer on, taste only or maybe how severe the hangover is the next day? What is your least favourite and why?

Mine would easily be Stella Artois because of the taste (so lush) and the higher Alcohol content @ 5.2% vol. Don't think you can get higher percentage without drinking something like Super Tenants @ 9% but that tastes like diesel fuel.

However if I drink another lager for a long period of time and go back to Stella it tends to give me headaches the next morning for a while.

My least favourite would be Fosters because it just tastes like fizzy piss, in fact the only non-premium beer I can stand is Carlsberg which I only drink when the requirement is to continuously drink for up to 2 days straight with no sleep. (I don't advocate doing that, obviously bad for your health).

I wouldn't say Stella is my favourite in terms of flavour (although it's not bad), but it's the one I always end up buying. Thing is, you can always rely on Stella to do the job. Other nice lagers you can end up spending a fortune just trying to get pissed.
