Effects - What can stop the itchies?? Ruined SWIMS entire trip!

So despite reading all the posts about itchiness as a nasty side effect from codeine, SWIM never really experienced it during his 5 or so codeine experiences. It wasnt that he was terribly itchy; it just felt really good to scratch. so if anything he enjoyed as a positive effect from the codeine. Anyway last weekend SWIM took eight 30 mg straight codeine pills. About 45 min. after popping all 8 a cat got him pretty good in the side of the head. Now obviously, regardless of whether or not your on codeine, thats gonna be itchy, so he scratched it. But soon though after he was sratching at his whole head and the rest of his body, even though it made it so much worse. Anyway SWIM has 10 more codeine but unless theres something safe and easy find that will stop the itchies he prolly wont use them.
