weird substance found in speed

Hi, my 'friend who is from an independantly governedisland'legally obtainedanounce of 4-1 cut speed(amphetamine sulfate not meth)and after bagging it up he noticed it was riddled with clear crystals about14th thesize of a lead on a pencil, each halfweight contained on average about3 peices ranging from the size of an ant to the size of 2-3 ants.


the characterists of the grains are:


looks simular to crystal meth or crystal ketamine


clear with no tint at all


square or rectangle shaped


crushes into a fine white powder like pureglucose but much harder


tingles the tounge(much like salt without the actual salty taste)


does not taste salty nor sweet at all


disolves in water


when heated: doesNOT melt like methamphatmine but rather bubbles andsmokes, the parts touching the spoon will char black while the bubbles will turn hard andwhite and anything inbetween will be a light brown, it can then be crushed into a soft, lightbrown ash.


emits a sweet smelling white smoke when heated up


my friend is dying to know what this could be, was it put there on purpose or is it due to a lazy chef, his dealer has aparently said it is normal for it to occur in such large amounts of speed, but he finds this hard to believe.

i know someone who ran into a similar issue--im defidenly interested to
hear what you find out. most likely its just something used to cut the
final product with or as you said, maybe something left in due to a
lazy chef. post whatever you find out even you don't find the answer
here.

msm most likley it is a clear little crystal always used around here in the mid west by cooks to cut with

or epsom salt accually it is epsom salt most likley diddnt read the
part of your post that said it turned white and black go get some and
try just freebase and filter out and then rerock with dry ice to make
ice/glass smokeable meth

also its not normal to see in your bag it is probly your dealer not
knowing what he is doing or the right way to cut and trying to make a
fast buck by throwing it in there
