Purity - MDMA like dark chocolate?

Firstly hi to everyone! I'm new to this site!

Has anyone ever come across MDMA that looks like broken bits or dark chocolate with a slight purple tint? Its not in a crystal form more like a hard putty. Has similar god awful taste!

Cant say that SWIM has. Sounds impure though! What the the effects like? What I mean is does it seem as strong?

I hope it is not you who plans to take this substance, as it is against the rules (self-incrimination) that you agrees to when you signed up.

My little fishy tells me that the majority of the time his MDMA has been a slight off white/light brownish colour, this is due to skipping the last step of manufacture to increase yield. He has never seen MDMA that looks like dark chocolate or has a purple tint.

A report from SWIY would be nice if SWIY takes this substance, especially if SWIY has had experience with this chemical before to compare the quality.

Bongo & Company, Ltd - would reject anything represented as MDMA that was like putty and was brown and purplish. If it is MDMA, it speaks volumes regards the ineptitude of the chemist responsible. As stands - no one knows what SWIM has.

Pure MDMA is usually encountered as it's hydrochloride. If extremely pure (99.5% or better), it is a colorless crystal. Often it has a yellowish to brownish tint as the chemist didn't bother to recrystallize it following filtration after reacting it with HCL to form the stable salt of commerce.

Someone I know tried this stuff last weekend. Apparently it was like a smashed up kitkat, very dark brown and almost squidgy. Had a dark brown crust with a more crystal look in the centre.

When he tried to smash it up it just turn into a resin like substance which was a lighter tan colour. Couldn't really do anything with it apart from nibble it at.

He said it definitely wasn't md as the feelings were more like mcpp. More trippy and got him anxious. No md high whatsoever. It also tasted very sour/bitter like mcpp pills that have been doing the rounds in the North. God knows what it.

Absolute crap and would advise everyone to stay away from this stuff.

The whiter it is, the purer it is. So dark brown sounds like its got no MDMA in it at all.
Unless it has been mixed with something for taste

Monkey has come across stuff that looked life fudge that you cut with a knife, but stayed well away from it. Good thing too, it turned out to be awful, an unpleasant and extremely mild high.

not true at all. even a tiny impurity can completely change the colour of alot of crystaline substances. in general though yes you want a clean looking product, but it really is impossible to tell without proper testing.

It probably is speed... or methamphetamine. Doesn't sound like MDMA from the effects described.

Whoever gets this should ask for an explanation from their dealer and warn others against buying it. If the dealer cannot be reasoned with (if they are in any way honest they will care about what their customers have to say and not threaten to break their kneecaps), SWIMmers should take their business elsewhere.

Monkey doesn't really have any actual chemical knowledge, but was told that the darker layers taken from the "bottom of the bath" were stronger. Indeed, the dark/purple stuff Monkey has tried was very strong. But then again he has had excellent white stuff too. The only colour (he's also had red) which has disappointed monkey was a light brown beige colour. Monkey doesn't think colour is a great indicator of quality.

SWIY reported that it blew his head off. he had to nibble at it but it was ok. SWIY said it wad def not speed like cos he could still sleep and a more euphoric high. SWIY would def have again

Yes, sounding similar to the area Monkey said he got his, and it was apparently from the kind of guy who would get the MD made on a huge scale (read: bogstandard)

Swimmers on another forum are reporting that with test kits, this substance is not testing positive for MDMA.

Swim has sampled and suspects it may contain mephedrone, but this is a wild guess with only one experience of the substance to compare it with.

It certainly is the only other chemical swim has ingested that comes close to the euphoria achieved with MDMA.

Swim would advise other users to be careful, as this is definately not MDMA, and IF it is mephedrone, bare in mind that this is a research chemical with relatively little history of use, and unknown long term effects.

My little fishy thinks the euphoria from mephedrone comes no where near that of MDMA, and the duration is far far shorter. Methylone is far closer but still can't compete.

Pure mephedrone is also not anything like dark chocolate.

SWIM had alot of this stuff at GLOBAL '08. SWIMS mate bought it in nottingham.
